Not answering questions is why she was hired. Well, and she's Fox Blonde so The Faithful feel good with her pushing lies on screen...

You know reporters are really pissed when they "fumeded"

But you have to love her quote  "I think the world is looking at us as a leader in COVID-19"

It doesn't count as cheating unless there's a consensus in the intelligence community.

You have to give her credit for not *entirely*lying.... The US is certainly leading the world in COVID-19, just not the way she means...

I read the better option not too long ago: the WH Press Corps needs to unite and keep on her. One problem is Fox and OAN get in there and ask what Trump had for breakfast or other bullshiat questions. If they all had some solidarity, they might get somewhere.

This of course is doubtful, but continuing to throw light on WH obfuscation and dysfunction is the best solution. Coincidentally light works on cockroaches, too.

"[McEnany's] briefing is off the rails," tweeted New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman.

Well, um, WTF were you expecting from a Trump press secretary. I mean, really.

Jesus Christ, press corps. STOP TREATING THIS WOMAN AND SITUATION LIKE YOU WOULD TREAT SOMEONE ACTING IN GOOD FAITH. Someone has to be smarter at this game than the mean girl with a microphone. Fame and renown, and quite possibly the future of the entire industry, await the person who finally cracks this shiat wide open along the lines of the here and now. BREAK HER AND YOU WILL WIN EVERYTHING.

I started typing out a witty response as to why Kayleigh McEnany got the job but I have better things to do.

She got hired because she's a bimbo, pure and simple.

All this law and order crap is not going their way. I saw Meadows yakking about taking towns, businesses, homes. The LOUD offers from the WH saying all you have to do is ask and we'll fix your cities! And being met with a yawn and whatevs. No one is even looking at the bait.

Man, I've been saying that shiat for years. Our white house press corps is embarrassing.

They refuse to back each other up, and don't press hard enough for the truth. It's like watching an adult who works with special needs kids.

just a bunch of selfish, opportunistic, star farkers. It's almost like they forgot it was their job to get the facts instead instead of letting the president gaslight them.

That's rich, NYT's chief Trump ball-gargler Maggie Haberman is upset with his bimbo press secretary.

She's more concerned with access than she is with holding Trump's regime accountable, she's part of the problem.

propasaurus: Holy crap, I just had a thought. Can you imagine Joe Biden appointing April Ryan as White House press secretary? It would be glorious.

Well that would be entertaining, real journalists like April need to be into that press pool asking difficult questions of every Administration. Stigginit is what Trump and his Fox crew do. What do we need to be doing instead in stuffing pretending that we need to be professional with babe Liars that have no intention I'm reporting in good faith. Oan and fox have no place in journalism and we need to stop pretending that they do just to be polite and professional.

We have seen states deviate from the feds in the past. They couldn't on prohibition or could have but for reasons.

They did, and continue, buck the legalized weed. It was slow at first but the feds just sent strict letters. As it grew there was some biatching from OK and KS were pissed because of legal weed in CO bleeding into their states but even the lawsuits there were lost. So eventually we had a bunch of states just doing their thing and eventually Obama saw a cost saving measure and stopped paying for the postage for the letters.

Now due to circumstances never seen nearly the entire country is more or less ignoring the feds in any way they can. It's not universal and they are rightly trying to get help for the covid and stuff but overall many of the recent overtures by the feds to "help" have been rebuffed.

The short version is never in my life have I seen this division between the states and the feds. All the rest of it has been microscopic compared to this.

This probably makes more sense in my head than my words here but I typed them and figure since I took the time you have to suffer with me.

/thank deity for the legal weed
//it has kept me sane
///more or less

.@PressSec comparison of Bubba Wallace noose incident to Jussie Smollett - Smollett has been accused of staging an incident. No one has accused Wallace of staging a noose in his garage stall.

Yeah, Maggie Haberman shouldn't call herself a journalist if she couldn't even discover the tweet from the supposed leader of our country (and the press secretary's boss) where he did just that; accuse Wallace of this (in his own words) "hoax". That's exactly what Trump did. And while I don't consider him to be a leader, an honest person, a smart person, or an adult, he sure counts as "someone".
