This bit right here. If you want to excuse all the war crimes, you're shiat but that's expected. But for a commander to completely turn his back on the people he led for doing their job. Well, that's Trump.

fark this guy.

Clint is MUCH worse.  Niedermeyer was merely incompetent, Clint was actively doing war crimes as fast as he could.

Hannity is nearly as disgusting a human as orange fatso. They are both cowardly chickenhawks who have no idea what the term "service before self" means.  Neither has any concept of how damaging this incident is to the military justice system.

It'll never happen but Biden does have an arrow in his quiver to take out that human occupied landfill of a commander. The case as it stands is basically proven, but in terms of American and American military justice he now pardoned of the crime.

Biden could allow him to be extradited for war crimes in the Hague.

But that would require the bending of the knee of American exceptionalism and I know that'll never happen.

yakmans_dad: Please summarize the story. Paywall.

The story is about a war criminal.

His troops downloaded a privacy browser and copy pasted the link to evidence against him into that browser.

They read the evidence in the privacy browser with no paywall.

The criminal was convicted. Then he was pardoned by Trump because both are awful men.

The troops are sad.

comic serif: Can the next president un-pardon people?

No, but the POTUS can't pardon state-level crimes.

I'd imagine very thorough investigations of anyone who got a blanket pardon from Trump.

As for Trump himself, the State of New York will almost certainly be going after him for, at a bare minimum, tax fraud.

At this point, receiving a blanket pardon from Trump is painting a big target on your back for state prosecutors, because you'll be presumed to be corrupt and a co-conspirator of Trump's.

2020-07-06 8:08:42 AM
Dismiss the source, dismiss the subject, question the motivation. In Trump land articles like this are either from biased (fake) sources. The subject of articles is nitpicking and not really important. The people in the story are just angling to get something they haven't earned.

You have to admit Trump has done a great job creating a self-reinforcing psychosis.

Okay, two problems with that pic:

1. That ass is far too small to be Trump's.
2. Maybe they do smell good. I mean, if I eat way too much McD's, my farts can kinda smell like hamberders.

Otherwise, he despises them for the training, knowledge and discipline. They're props to him.

Lorance had traded in his Army uniform for a blazer and a red tie. He leaned in to the microphone. "I don't know any of these guys. None of them know me," Lorance said of his former troops. "To be honest with you, I can't even remember most of their names."

Jesus, I get it, you were only in charge three days.  Yet, you somehow managed to commit three war crimes in those three days.  Your 'leadership" marked those men for life.  I don't know, maybe you should try to learn at least the names of your victims?

"None of them know me"

Yet later you claim that they were all trying to get you in trouble 'cause they're homophobic.

It wasn't the multiple orders to murder civilians. It was the thing that they DIDN'T know about you that made them testify.

Why not.  Trump and the gop killed American exceptionalism. We have given up our perch at the top of the global order.  It will take some time to shake out, but all people now see how unreliable the US is.  How much longer until people, corporations and countries realize that unstable is not a characteristic you want in the country that acts home to the reserve currency of the world.  Once that happens, it's a long slow economic decline.  China is the only country in position to become the dominant economic force.  Maybe the EU, but they have become pretty well destabilize too.

So vote Biden and the democrats, it's the only chance the US has to maintain its prominence. It's probably a slim chance, but it's all we have.

I would say that change isn't necessarily bad.  But Chinas leadership doesn't care to much about people or the environment.  We don't have time as a species to keep shiatting the bed.  We are driving along the edge of a cliff and people are arguing about how sharply we should turn into thin air.
