You can tell a lot about a politician by noting who supports him or her.

If Hugh Hewitt supports you, that means that you are on the same level as the stuff they finally hose out of dumpsters after the tenants' complaints can no longer be ignored.

Trump has had nearly four years and all he's done is appoint unqualified people to the courts.

He's got about 200 miles of his wall done, costing more than a million per mile and going up at the rate of .006 mph.

And so on for each and every issue.

2020-07-06 1:07:02 AM
Well, here's a simple way to think about it:

Joe's agenda: A lot of different things

Trump's agenda: ME ME ME ME ME, maybe changing the laws so I can fark my daughter without hiding it

2020-07-06 1:08:19 AM
Neither candidate has an agenda other than "I'm not that guy".

He's actually got at least one more: to use that 50¢ of a Big Mac coupon before it expires.

Which do you prefer: Trump's agenda or Biden's?

Biden's.

Was that supposed to be a tough question or something?

2020-07-06 1:11:13 AM
"Biden's judges will be the opposite of Trump's, ready to leave the job of umpiring and eager to participate in a long overdue injection of their understandings of equality into American institutions."

There it is in black and white, folks.

That's their whole ball game.

Please go vote in November to help put a stop to this kind of bullshiat.

Every time I see his name on an editorial, I consider unsubscribing to the Washington Post. And every time, I refuse to read it so he doesn't get a click, hopefully so they'll eventually drop him.

// In the past, I commented on his columns by saying his arguments were so stupid that they sounded like "some crap Hugh Hewitt would say."

1.6 miles of *new* wall. Part of it fell down during a wind storm. The private wall is slated to fall into the river.

He did spend an entire year working on the tax cuts for the rich. A full year.

The rest was watching TV and golfing.

Get two clear jars. Label one jar WAPO and the other one NYT. Every time you see one of these clickbaity shiat-for-brains opinion pieces toss a penny into the appropriate jar

As soon as one or the other jar is full, put those pennies in a sock. If you're subscribed to the named publication, have a friend beat you to death with the sock full of pennies. Or unsubscribe, your choice

Your country thanks you

Hewitt can't even report the obvious: Trump's response to Hannity's question on his agenda:

"I always say talent is more important than experience, I always say that. I never did this before, I never slept over in Washington. I was in Washington, I think, 17 times. All of a sudden, I'm president of the United States. You know the story. I'm riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our first lady, and I say, 'This is great.' But I didn't know very many people in Washington. It wasn't my thing. I was from Manhattan, from New York."

"Now I know everybody. And I have great people in the administration. You make some mistakes. Like, you know, an idiot like [John] Bolton, all he wanted to do was drop bombs on everybody. You don't have to drop bombs on everybody. You don't have to kill people."

Hewitt: you flunked Journalism 101.  But you passed Propaganda 499.

2020-07-06 1:27:38 AM

ElPrimitivo: I wasn't familiar with Hugh Hewitt or his views, but I have stepped in dogshiat before.

Hewitt said that in regards to George W Bush's decisions while President, the Iraq War would go down as "one of the wisest he has made."

Amid the Trump-Ukraine scandal, which led to the impeachment of President Trump, Hewitt floated a conspiracy theory that the whistleblower complaint that set off the scandal was by a whistleblower who was trying to divert attention from his own involvement in a "Clintons-Obama-Biden collusion debacle".

Hewitt's son was an EPA appointee working under Scott Pruitt, and yet Hugh never mentioned this fact during the multitude of articles he wrote defending Pruitt and his BS.

Hey, hugh!  You know who I prefer?  Candidates that are not traitors.  I realize that is really confusing for the trump voters.

Personally, there should be a test for everyone turning 18yo.  It should be very simple.  Like this:

"Would you vote for anyone who promised the one thing you wanted when that same candidate would destroy everything else?"

If they select "Yes" or "Undecided", they should be incinerated on the spot.

Hold on a second...a politician running for office in our insane system of campaign finance is asking for money?  Heaven forefend!  That does it, both sides are equally bad.  Whom should I vote for?  Whom?

Well, this is going to go sideways no matter who wins in November...if Trump wins, the left wing will lose their minds, and if he loses, the right wing will lose theirs.  Arguably, there would be fewer things like synagogue shootings, insurrection, and just general farkery that will come with him losing.  Plus, in 2024, should Biden win and live that long, he'll be a weak candidate running against someone even worse than Trump. Maybe Hannity.  IDK man, that's about all I got on that front. I personally will be voting against him, so obviously I haven't thought about it too much.

It's Hugh Hewitt, subby, not some random idiot.

Soliciting an op-ed from Hugh Hewitt is somewhat less subtle than having David Duke co-author one with the necromantically revived corpse of Adolph Hitler, as far as the agenda being pushed is concerned.  He's basically "what if we secretly replaced all of Tucker Carlson's dog-whistles with bullhorns to see what happened".

He's one of the white supremacists who I'm pretty sure doesn't even deny he's a white supremacist outside of whatever bare minimum his publicist requires to keep getting him contrarian writing gigs instead of being exiled from real media and stuck back on Stormfront.  Richard Spencer is less of a Nazi than this guy, and all his columns are like this.
