More likely your 2022 playoff qualifier who loses 52-48

A lot of good quarterbacks have been through Oklahoma lately
Its a shame that none of them ever saw a good defense before the playoffs

So much this. A QB may get you to within sight of that trophy, but you need a defense to actually hold it after the Big Game is over.

You beat me to it:  not until they find a defense (which no one in the Big 12 seems to have).

That's where you're wrong. It's a game of individual accomplishments, not a team concept.

Just look at all the trophies Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray hoisted.

FTFA: Ohio State is currently atop the 2021 rankings, followed by Tennessee, Florida and USC.

This pleases me immensely, I always look forward to the "Tennessee is back" and "USC is back" stories and now I don't have to worry about them not happening.

And us Michigan fans are happy, knowing that the early calls are for The Oh Sucky University to stomp us into the dirt only to fail when it counts the most :).

That's just ranking of recruiting classes if I read that right.

He's looking for the Heismann and NFL draft position. Championships are secondary.

I don't see anywhere in the article that 8 SEC ready defensive line men are all transferring to OU.

QB play has not been their issue under LR.

Oh Michigan Man™, hast ye truly abandoned any semblance of standards? When did "leaders and best" come to mean "I'm happy sitting on my couch watching my betters continue to play despite not knowing where Indy is and what playoffs are because my UM #1 foam fingers and Capitol One Bowl key chain I picked up in Orlando are all which my heart desires?"

In these 2021 recruiting rankings, Michigan has two players from the great state of Ohio and neither of them were offered by your betters. Michigan has three players from their own state, none of which were offered by your betters.

Quick side note here, one of those commits from Michigan was a kicker. While I am greatly disappointed that he didn't go to an airport to announce his commitment in a video using a Puff Daddy song after pretending to have gotten off a private plane, I am very much looking forward to him missing an extra point as a senior to close out an illustrious 0-4 record against his betters.

In the same class being discussed, your betters have six players from the great state of Ohio. Michigan offered five of them, and obviously got none of them. Your betters have no commits from the crappy state of Michigan, we don't even want what you have let alone even worse players that you don't want.

I am pleased that we can be civil with one another.

Yeah, well...

Hold on...

Okay, we're good.

Those two games there were from 2008 and 2009. Jesus, who cares?

That was more recent which in my mind, completely invalidates our 10-13-1 record against USC.

Tennessee fans think they're "back" every year, and the football team's resolute failure, thereafter, to be anything better than mediocre?  Along with the denial and consternation of their fans, this has given me much pleasure in the last decade or so.  I really hope they're still not back whenever the next season happens.

OUr defense was better last year, but nowhere near where it needs to be. I hope the DC is able to recruit.

Lived east of Knox for 7 years...the Spurrier years. Oh dear God you talk about an abusive relationship to football. From we are underrated, to look out SEC east, to we got screwed, to our coach and players and fans suck, to when is basketball and bowl season, to beating a few cupcakes and getting a low tier bowl and everything looks good going into  next year, to recruits that will shake up the world and all the other teams will be down next year, and lather, rinse, repeat.  Aside from football, some super nice people in the area. In regards to football, well you get it.
