Charlie Kirk?  Sentient?

tRump has never said anything positive about America, maybe about the economy, but never about America.  He despises over half of the US, calls them and treats them as enemies.  And he has done this for the whole time that he has been president.

I positively don't want Trump reelected.

2020-07-05 7:30:21 AM
If Americans want their lives back, then maybe in the hotspot states, they should sit their asses at home until this mess dies down. That takes something like self-control and discipline, virtues that seem absent with folks who equate "freedom" with acting like a damn toddler. Being positive isn't going to make this virus go away. Calming the f*ck down, and doing the actual work of containing this thing is the only path forward.

We've been at this for less than six months. And people are freaking out about their "freedom" when their parents and grandparents had to deal with worse restrictions for four years during WWII. They can't sit the f*ck down for a few months, and they want to claim the mantle of the Greatest Nation on Earth? Motherf*ckers, you have to earn that, and it's NOT a participation badge.

You are Americans. Buck the f*ck up, and step up to the challenge, not whine about how hard it is, you f*cking Sallies.

Life doesn't come with any guarantees, and y'all need to remember that, you f*cking toddlers. Cripes, my daughter figured this sh*t out when she WAS a toddler, and y'all have had twenty to sixty years to get this sh*t right.

Trump hates all Americans. He calls over half enemies. He obviously holds the other half who support him in utter contempt.

To the matter at hand, who could have predicted the GOP would embrace the power of positive thinking. Seems like liberal snowflake thinking to me.

I'd be a little more optimistic about things if footage emerged of Charlie Kirks neck being under a cops knee for nine minutes.

Why does anyone give a crap about what this trust fund idiot says?

It's beyond me.

Kirk, DSouza, Candace, Gorka, Diamond, Silk, and many other F-List Conservatives "heroes" haven't every really done anything but talk. Or tweet. Or post pics of themselves doing "Man things".

It's ridiculous

Charlie Kirk got into politics after his application to West Point was rejected, and he's convinced some uppity black woman "stole" his spot due to Affirmative Action.

He did not attend ROTC in college and for some bizarre reason, felt the opinion of some punk-ass little shiat who has literally accomplished needed to be shared with the world.

That's all you need to know about him.  His path in life is motivated by failure and racist spite.  He's also a coward who won't even be honest about what a racist creep he is.

It's all they need. Factual information is anathema to the paradigm. They aren't trying to change history, they're trying to introduce an entirely new perception of the definition of it.

Well Kirk's organization has been surprisingly successful at infiltrating college campuses and radicalizing young white men. He may be a dipshiat, but he's a dangerous one.

How many documented lies is Trump up to now? 20K?

2020-07-05 8:31:13 AM
It's not Trump's positivity that attracts these people, it's his certainty.

He truly believes that he is the perfect man (and that Ivanka is the perfect woman). He truly believes that he's a brilliant businessman because he bought businesses with other people's money, pocketed any profits and bailed, leaving everyone else to carry the debt. He truly believes that he's a heroic leader and he's kind of bourne out because...you know...he's the President. Yes, I know he lost the popular vote and that there was a ridiculous amount of cheating, but 62 million people still voted for him.

And, as you know, being Republican means never having to say you're sorry.

Reagan's sunny optimism was also racist shiat, but racists were a larger majority of Americans.  When the last Reagan voter is buried, maybe we can fix this country.

So what about the businesses and restaurants desperate for income to survive and their employees desperate for a check? You act like staying at home until it's over with us and easy thing to do, but the problem is that many Americans and businesses are on the verge of collapsing right now. There's no guarantee at all that this will only last a couple more months, and we don't have a government competent enough to send out another, larger stimulus package. Guess what's even worse than staying home in a pandemic? Being homeless in a pandemic.

Maybe elect a better government next time?  One that gives a shiat about the people instead of the mega corporations?  I applied for and received PPP funds for my company.  I kept all of my employees through the pandemic.  You know how many companies didn't get funding or laid people off anyway?  Too farking many.  If we had followed the Canadian model for this we'd be in much better shape now but we can't have that because reasons.

One party doesn't want to ok more stimulus spending. One party does.

One party is incompetent, not all of government.

These are trying times. Conflating the party that wants to help with the party that wants you to be mask-free while it all burns is not helpful.

That would be devastating to Trump's election. If he can't whine about how oppressed he is or scream about how he will oppress other Americans then he has nothing to talk about. And Trump supporters aren't going to get revved up listening to him talk policy or expressing his love for all of America. They hate policy and other Americans. That's their thing.

Maybe the federal government that conspicuously failed to prevent this calamity from getting as bad as it is could help those businesses out?

Yes - but much of this could've been avoided by competent leadership. That is squarely on the shoulders of DJT in almost every way, shape and form.

So, yes - there is going to be pain. But the response to that is not to continue to shove consumers and employees into a wood chopper. The best response is is flatten the curve - until that is done, it simply is not feasible to 'go back to normal'. Until the testing, tracing and social distancing/mask protocols are universally observed and practised.....well, you see what's happening.

Here's the thing - the republican bubble is not so airtight and so bonkers that if you imagine competent leadership, say Hillary Clinton, there's a scenario where this could be even worse because the already insane "mah freedums!" coalition would've taken social distancing directives as a signal for open rebellion.

In some sense an alternate reality Donald Trump who tried to lead with pseudo competency what have been our only hope because he's the only one that get a message into the republican bubble.  His people have checked out on the country.

Trump had even more of an opportunity to address this pandemic than Clinton would have and he completely squandered it because he's, well, Trump.
