Why is this on the business tab instead of the food tab? Some little eatery in Japan isn't business news.

That's kind of cool, honestly.

It's like the Warriors bar for Green Lanterns, except with better food & costumes.

I figured this would be about the Kowloon in Saugus...

Not surprised to see it started with Bruiser Brody. I am surprised Stan Hansen wasn't name dropped in there.

I do imagine that, should we turn to cannibalism, a goodly chunk of the American population is that marbled.

Those two were pretty inseparable when they worked in Japan, and Bruiser Brody probably talked to Stan Hansen afterwards about "This great little steakhouse I found, come and try some of this great steak they serve up!".

I had a wagyu hamburger and it had hints of liver and what I describe as mud, it was incredible but not like yours

I don't think Americans would look like that if they were cut into steaks. Would look more like fatback or lardo.

They definitely go for a much higher fat content in their beef in Japan.

Probably signifying my unrefined taste here, but I vastly prefer the leanest cuts of steak to any of the more fatty cuts. I know its supposed to add flavor, but the fatty/gristley pieces just gross me out.

it is for historical records. For when our kids ask "what was it like to eat at a restaurant with other people in it?"

Longtime wrestling fan. I took my family on our "bucket list" trip to Japan last year (King Hotel Suites, Business Class air cabins, everything top notch).  I let my daughters work with me to plan the activities, my only ask was a New Japan Wrestling show and dinner at Ribera.  A very fun time and a trip of a lifetime.  The food was very good and relatively inexpensive.  The only side dishes were salad and corn.
