Program User: Are we SURE it's still 2020?  Because we didn't get the worst possible outcome.

If we did, we'd read "Kanye West to replace Mike Pence on Republican presidential candidate ticket."

I sure hope that this is a sign that 2020 is running out of evil to throw at us.

I have like $20 riding on Mike Pence not being the nominee.

Still a long shot, but suddenly a much better bet.

What odds did you get on that bet?

Predictit does it in cents, so 16 cents pays out $1

WilderKWight: Nicholas D. Wolfwood: bobobolinskii: King Something: He's a jackass.

Attention whore is more the phrase that comes to mind

"Worthless pile of shiat" also comes to mind.

ELECTION SPOILER is the best description right now.

Kanye doesn't want to be President. He wants to damage Biden's chances so Trump can win. He's using his celebrity and his (and the Kartrashians') stupid fanbase to split the vote.

Yes, and anyone who deliberately and with malice aforethought works to give Trump a second term is a -- you guessed it, a 'Worthless Pile of Shiat'.

BlackChickWhiteAccent: apoptotic: WilderKWight: stoli n coke: WilderKWight: Theory Of Null: nonfactor. Only a total idiot would think he would be a good leader. Thankfully most of those degenerate types are the ones that thought trump would be a good choice. If anything he will take votes away from rump.

Kanye was put up to this by Trump to divide the Black vote.

And it looks like it's working, goddammit.

This is dirty politics at its worst, and it may just end up being the reason our country is completely destroyed in the not-so-distant future.

A poll put up by Kanye's podcast? Seems legit.

It doesn't matter if it's legit. It gives a snapshot of how Kanye's fans are reacting to this announcement, and if the reality of this clusterfark is escaping you, Kanye sold 21 million albums. If a portion of those people, plus a portion of Kim Kardashian's vapid, low-information, stupid farkin' fanbase decides to sway their vote from Biden The Old White Guy, then we're looking at some dents in Biden's numbers that may have a serious impact on the race.

This is bad. Kanye's sole function is as a spoiler, and his fans are too farking stupid to understand or care.

Exactly. Whether he actually does what is necessary to qualify to be on the ballot, as a write-in or otherwise, doesn't even matter. Every vote for him, whether 'legitimate' or wasted, is effectively a vote for 45*. Hell, at this point it wouldn't surprise me if he were to get votes even if he stood up tomorrow and said 'I was joking, please don't vote for me.' The genie is out of the bottle now.

And I bet when you close your eyes and picture exactly who would be the stupid type of muthafarker to fall for Kanye's bullshiat, you see lots of black people.

Come on man, we all ain't that stupid. And you know good and goddamned well, there simply aren't enough of us to sway the election that much.

Young people are hard working, but when it comes to voting, they are lazy. I know this. One of my nieces, he ...

Just pump the farking brakes here a minute.  Those people who know, who are now "fully engaged" but skipped 2016, did they not believe what was going to happen.  It's not like any of this shiat was new then (although the scope and depth kinda was), but this is all stuff that TRUMP SAID HE WAS GONNA DO.  That by itself should have been tattooed to your friends, my friends, and every other goddamn person who couldn't be bothered to show up in 2016.  The fact that they say they are "fully engaged" is farking meaningless until they actually show up in appreciable numbers and vote.  This didn't happen in the 2016 general, nor did it happen with Bernie in either primary, and this was the guy that younger voters were all about.

Also to your last statement:  I don't need to wait until November to figure out where the roaches are.  In case you haven't noticed, they've been pretty out and about lately.

cretinbob: And he probably missed the filing deadline in most states already. There is a shiat ton of work that goes into running.
It's not like declaring bankruptcy.

He is dropping a new album soon.

Like Trump, Kanye doesn't wanna be president, he just wants all the dick sucking and handos that go with running for the office.

misanthropicsob: If his platform is single payer health care, justice reform and free croissants for everybody, I might vote for him.

Not gonna hold out for Avocados?

Advernaut: Elon supports this guy? I guess I'll never own a Tesla.

Yeah, that's why.
