I hear that they are thinking f putting up a wall.

Good. Actually, I don't think it should be limited to those over 65. Everyone should have to. I had to get a note from my vet in order to take my dog through Canada, so why not have a note saying that you're not likely to drop dead or spread disease when you get on a floating petri dish?

Meh, likely more of a liability issue.

The cruise line is a Scandinavian (or otherwise EU) company, the ship is flagged out of Liberia, the crew is Indonesian.  Just how does a US court have jurisdiction?  And where else would a court support such stupidity?

Stick it up your ass.  I'm 73 and likely thinner and in better shape than you.

The Daily Express - otherwise known as the paramilitary Wing of the Daily Mail - in Anti European Story Shock

/Yawn

The Daily Express commenting on the EU? I'm guessing they've taken their usual giant leap to find their outrage fuel.

The document reads: "Passengers in high risk groups including people over 65 years of age or people of any age with underlying medical conditions (chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, respiratory diseases and immunocompromised individuals) should be advised to visit a doctor for pre-travel medical consultation to assess if they are fit to travel."

So no mention of forcing people to visit a doctor, or requiring evidence of said visit before permitting travel then, despite the wailing in the headline? Shocker.

Over 65? Want to take a cruise?

You might be an idiot.  Global farking pandemic going on and you want to pile onto a boat with hundreds or thousands of other dipshiats.

Good luck with that.

This is great! It means these cruise ships will be filled with virile young European women ready for my seed. I'm booking now!

How so? Please explain why proving yourself not to be a health risk to those around you is the same as white supremasy. Many cruise lines already require vaccinations (depending on the destination). How is this different?

This is something they probably should have been doing decades ago. It can be quite risky being locked in a ship. Especially with open bars and an all they can stuff into you policy in the various restaurents and dining rooms. Choose a ship with a good shopping mall so you can spend your days mall-walking with your Granny.

Mall walkers. In Canada, many people have to walk the hockey arenas. Boring scenery, but at least it is cool in the Summer. And they may have a cantine open.

We've already agreed. No vaccine, no cruise.

I'm surprised the Express didn't somehow twist it into a victory by Boris Johnson over the EU
