What we have known since February:
- The virus isn't going anywhere.
- Wear a mask
- Wash your hands
- Be mindful of what you touch
- Physically distance to the fullest extent possible.
- We need more testing
- We need more PPE

What has been utterly annoying since February
- Conspiracies about where/how the virus originated.
- Whining about wearing a mask
- Whining about media instilling fear by reporting facts.
- More whining and unsubstantiated speculation.
- Whining about "I don't know who to listen to our trust."
- Whining about how there is so much information out there coming to fast and constantly changing.

fsbilly: Permanent Solutions For Permanent Problems: Why do we wear facemasks and wash out hands more during this pandemic?

Short Andwer: Because that's what the CDC is telling us to do.

Less Short Answer: Because that's what medical professionals advise.

There's a longer answer but those two should suffice.

But my neighbor says it's a government program to get the public to submit to control and my Christian conservative Trump-supporting old friend who dropped out in 10th grade and runs a cutting torch for a salvage company says he's not worried and I shouldn't be worried either. Different people say different things. Who are we supposed to believe?

I really do not understand how you and many others manage to remain friends with such people in the face of such reckless derp. I cannot decide whether you should be commended for your patience or mocked for not knowing when to give up for the sake of your own mental health.

My friends have flaws, but I can at least say they all possess basic intelligence and critical-thinking skills.

rhiannon: Not really sure what the issue is supposed to be about the article in general. Also not sure why it was written in the first place.

Your kidding, right? So many people are so blind to what is going down and how to protect themselves. This is very informative as how to protect yourself. Try a Trump event to see how good old Herman got it. My guess is he is gonna die fighting for the right to not wear a mask.

"I'm not a young chicken anymore!" joked Martinez.

Sounds like he's concerned that his chickens will come home to rest.
