Ha! Nice.

I wasn't ten seconds into this before I thought, "This really needs to be on the new Beavis and Butthead revival."

Alright, that was just stupid enough to be good. Thanks, Subby.

Fourthed.  (Is that even a word?)  I like their style - and it woulda been cool regardless of which bunch won it.

I'm not sure what the young crew is doing but I wouldn't call it break dancing

I'm also not convinced the old crew didn't have stunt doubles for the spinny parts.

I have to say that the matching velour jackets have me immediately concerned.

That was ok I guess.  I respect anybody getting together to make a fun video.

As far as battles go, it was a little mediocre.

Watch some old pros in a popping battle for comparison.  Just ignore Damon (black dude w/ blue pants).  He's the weakest of the four.

Concerned that they are too comfortable? I think my peak in life was in second grade when I had two velour v-neck shirts and I used to wear them on Thursday and Friday to finish the week off in style. Not a lot of velour options out there these days but I'd jump on them if I could just to try to recapture those halcyon days. I suppose I'd need to get a Schwinn dirt bike though too.

Thanks subby! I just bought the album, since it's Bandcamp Artist day where all the money from sales goes directly to the band itself.

Just as a bookend, if there are actually any younger people reading this thread who want to refine their dancefloor skills, here are two good (but old) tutorials:

Get out there and crush it.

The only way to tell for sure would be to redo the entire video with even closer shots.

/breakdance is always breakdance, yo
