He's afraid.  Having seen the polls, he knows there's a small chance of being the lone Republican left in ATL after Nov.  He backed the wrong horse, and has to see it through.

It's easy when your cabal had a chokehold on power.  But, if you are forced to work with the opposing party, it's not fun anymore, is it Brian?

Are you HONESTLY SUGGESTING that Brian work with the enemies of America, those socialist antifa fascists calling themselves The Democrat Party!? The very idea.

He's a typical Republican jackoff.

That's an empty threat anyway. Countries that have recovered from major viral spread needed about two months of total and complete lockdown just to get a handle on the spread. If America shut down with a full hard lockdown on Monday, we wouldn't get control over the spread of CoVID-19 before September at the earliest.

Given the 40% of America that is anti-science and wouldn't abude by a hard lockdown to begin with, there is damn near zero probability of getting control over the spread of CoVID-19 in order to facilitate a fall football season. Best bet is to aim for next year and hope we have a grip on things by next July.

Frakking useless corrupt pussy-ass twat, he is. I voted for Abrams, who would have won IF HE HADN'T BEEN IN CHARGE OF HIS OWN ELECTION AND VOTING

I hope he dies of Covid-19, karma be damned

The last horse in Atlanta? I'm getting flashes of Clarke Gable, and a horse in a hood in the midst of a burning Apocalypse

So I went to Toco Hills Publix today and 99% mask wearing. I only saw one UGA bro who was maskless.  Then I drive to the fireworks store on Buford Highway and everyone in masks except the two hillbilly women working the register.  Buford Highway is a hotspot. They're totally bringing it back to Calhoun or Ringold or Winder or whatever.  Enjoy.

Don't bring that shiat down I-75 South. I kinda like living and breathing on my own.

In Brian Kemp's defense, he is an abject crook, completely devoid of morals, and one of the stupidest motherfarkers in the entire State of Georgia.

McMaster in S.C. did this yesterday.

He is such a titanic poosy. Can't politically bear to be seen as a mask truther, but his passive aggressive ass won't overturn municipalities mandatory mask orders, so he's hoping the state's mayors will do his dirty work. These farkstick red state govs are finally getting it through their heads that this is going to really wreck things so they are handwaving at half measures now that is too late. Their farking mask denialism is way too entrenched now to undo, and everyone is going to suffer for it.

They shutdown testing for the 3 day weekend.  Problem solved!

Maybe he just knows his constituents, as in they're so bull-headed they'll be even more against masks if he mandates it. Telling them they won't get their favorite toy (college football) is actually treating those types of folks appropriately: like they're children.

Yeah, we'll just see the bulldogs fall to Alabama's Backup QB again

Oh, Henry County has it running around. The Chick-Fil-A down the road from me shut down a month or so ago because a worker got sick. I honestly think that selling our house and moving further into the woods was the best decision my wife and I made this year. Second best decision was getting a pool installed. It will come in handy when there's no football on Saturdays in the fall.

At least it would be in the regular season this year.

I just got out of my pool.  I was wanting to sell this house and buy a nicer house without a pool a year ago.  I'm glad I got lazy and didn't sell.

Head north on 400. Up here in the Roswell/Alpharetta area I see about 50% wearing masks. And no social distancing at Publix, etc.

This is Georgia. We'll have college football even if it means drafting the entire Biology department after all the actual athletes end up in the hospital.
