Also...

- Just about 0 PA Republican Sens/Reps will admit to wearing a mask or wear one during session
- The Wharrgarble has changed to "WHY DID WOLF SEND SICK PEOPLE TO NURSING HOMES" while simultaneously denying the sickness
- Trot out their paid UPMC doc to talk about how it's not that bad but yet his county just posted their two largest increases in cases.

Future 5-4 SCOTUS decision, Roberts deciding vote: "Well, since Wisconsin and North Carolina did this, it's legal now and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is overruled. Pull yourself up harder by the bootatraps, Dems."

GOP lawmakers argued the governor's orders have crippled businesses across the state.

Angry Drunk Bureaucrat: The PA GOP is a particularly stupid breed of political troglodyte.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT??!!
is a common response to an offering of any fact to a PA GOP member.

They cannot debate

They cannot discuss.

When confronted with facts, just facts. things like "All men are created equal" and "Women have rights, too, you know"
that is cause to puff up into bully mode and challenge with raised voice.

They are bullies.
Which makes them assholes.

Which makes them very weak.
And very afraid.

Because they are dying off.

Not fast enough, but they are dying off.

Yeah, but requiring a mask is "dictatorial." While tear gassing is totally justified against protestors.

It's more likely they'll support the lower court ruling, as it has to do with state law, rather than federal law. It's really not their court. No pun intended.

Yeah.  SCOTUS tends to not hear cases unless they absolutely have to; and even then they rule on the very narrowest aspect as is possible.

Their constituents are now the people who give them campaign cash thanks to campaign fiance rules going out of control.

What rules? Lawmakers can straight up accept gifts without penalty, just gotta say "yup, I'm bought and paid by this company that will ruin your life next year"

PA has been one of the best states in terms of virus control.

Of course, we can't let success like that continue!

Sensible Pennsylvanians (and they are out there): "Hey, shiat's flaring up again. This has helped before, we're going to go back to that."
PA GOP: "LA LA LA LIBERAL LIES I WON'T LISTEN"
I'm farking sick of this.

They're a bunch of sociopathic lunatics.  They'd been winding up their goobers with their PR stunt ersolution and for 2 weeks it's been non-stop "It's not a law to wear a mask.  I don't have to. Stay home, sheep."

God I hate that Wisconsin incompetence could negatively impact other states.  I hate that it negatively impacts me as well but I choose to continue living here.

Despite Repubs best attempts to thwart it.

Lancaster has exceeded my expectations in the mask wearing dept.

I live in south central PA (hard core Trumplandia) and still most folks are masked in stores.  Hopefully that will hold- Wolf just signed an order to expand mask wearing yesterday so hopefully we can shut up the few morons.

Hell SCOTUS saying that 'that sounds like a state matter" is how Pennsylvania got redistricted.

Also if this is the ruling I'm thinking of I'm pretty sure the PA Supreme Court basically ruled "Yeah, you chuckleheads in the legislature delegated this kind of authority, you can't undelegate it unless you get a governor to sign it into law."

Heads up, rest of the Nation.

We (Pennsylvania) once gave you Rick Santorum.

Be on the lookout for our next rising star bum-nut-as$-farker...

Russ Diamond.

He is the key reason why ONE county (my county) stayed in a Governor-designated "yellow" phase while the rest of the state moved into a "fully open" (as much as COVID allows) "green."

Howdy, (almost) Neighbor!  I'm originally from Somerset County, myself.  Just up over the line on Rte. 30, past where the Ship Hotel used to be.

Circa 2006-2008 I lived in Centre County and worked in Blair, Bedford and Huntingdon counties due to work 'politics' I was required requested to go to a Republican fund raiser at my boss' house, some State legislator from Blair County who lost his job because of the midnight pay raise
Anyways he was telling everyone Santorum waa going to lose not for being Republican but for being Santorum

The PA state Republicans that withheld information from the state Democrats about having potentially been exposed to COVID-19 for a week?  The ones that still somehow have their seats and aren't awaiting trial for reckless endangerment?  Those Republicans?

Southwest PA, my neighbors fly the stars and bars, Trump flags, don't tread on me, and Thin Blue Line, and just saw a new one but the color stripe was red, but very few unadulterated American flags.

Since going green about a month ago people had pretty much stopped wearing masks in any store that didn't had an active greater enforcing it. Today: masks everywhere. It's pretty much the same level of mask wearing as when we were yellow and had no new cases in for days at a time, sometimes a whole week.

Starting tomorrow, St. Louis and St. Louis County are mandating masks inside public places, and outside when social distancing isn't possible.

With 34 new cases yesterday, we're already lower than much of the country, but I'll feel better when it says zero new cases for weeks at a time.

At that point hit them. It's self defense. Plus they appreciate a strong alpha male, and as rugged individualists, they'll be ok with getting their ass kicked.
