Sonny, true love is the greatest thing, in the world - except for a nice SLT - spam, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the spam is fried and the tomato is ripe. They're so perky, I love that.

Spam is too salty for me, even the lower sodium type.

I'm sorry, but I have too many memories of growing up being poor and eating Spam cooked in an electric skillet to find this palatable.

However, I'm not one to yuck someone's yum, so more power to you.

It's just canned salt pork. That's not exactly stunning or strange.

Pop the tin, fry it up, put it on rice or bread. You're welcome.

I'm going to teach you how to make tacos al pastor with 7-Eleven/CVS/corner food mart stuff

1 (12-oz.) can Spam, sliced thin
½ pineapple or 1 (15-oz.) can pineapple in juice (not syrup), sliced thin

4 dried guajillo chiles, stems torn off and seeds discarded

I don't think I've ever seen dried chiles at a convenience store

I still make spam and bean burritos that I learned to make from the mother of my old friend Javier when I lived in SoCal.
You may scoff, but I have fond memories of his Mamasitas' burritos after they had been warmed on the manifold of a Hyster 250 forklift.
