I'm pretty sure you meant 2nd or 3rd best Genesis album, and a prog landmark. Or I'm too hungover to resist such tasty bait. Probably both.

Giant hogweed can prove hazardous if its sap comes into contact with human skin, causing it to come out in a rash or blister.

It's Scotland.

The Scots will figure out how to make liquor out of it and then... problem solved.

The plant was first introduced to the UK in the 19th Century as an ornament but now grows out of control at the expense of other species, with some flowers producing up to 20,000 seeds.

Oh, the hubris of 19th c. botanists.

you sound like someone who not only knows who "Merillion" were/are...but own at least one of their albums.

Brain Salad Surgery was a "prog landmark". Nursery Crime was not.

/Not a Genesis fan in the best of times, let alone Gabriel era, but I'm aware of his penchant for silly costumes.
//There was a mildly amusing mockumentary a few years back, starring Simon Day as Brian Pern, a Gabrielesque frontman of the band Thotch.
///Also, DDIS, not GIS, to be faaair.

It's common enough in South Ontario that our work crews have training courses on how to not touch it.  Tyvek suits for when dealing with remote equipment and such.  Like any other weed it's spreading tool.

MNR has links on how to mark them for removal and destruction.  The hogweed, not our techs.
