US Attorney with jurisdiction needs to be brought in.

Charge under 18 U.S. Code §175 (bioterrorism).

Depending on whether or not they can prove someone dies, fines are up to $2Mil, and imprisonment for not less than 25 years.

There's a reason why the unofficial state motto of Alabama is "hold my beer and watch this."

Shhhhh, let Darwin take his harvest.   In this case True award winners as most of them may not yet have polluted the gene pool.

Hey, who are these wayward kids going to learn from now that we took down all their statues?

The kids could also try pole (or flagpole) sitting. Great way to have fun while practicing social distancing.

You know what, go ahead and help them to involuntary admission to a security hospital for 14 days and send Kyle and Karen's parents the bill.  Hopefully some of the little shiates get to spend some time intubated and on a ventilator.  Seriously, the stupidest of games deserve the stupidest of prizes.

Yeah, this should be filed with rainbow parties and the knock-out game as Hysterical Bullshiat That Never Happened.

Tuscaloosa City Councilor Sonya McKinstry said students have been organizing "COVID parties"

I have no doubt that this is occurring, because we are a stupid, stupid people.  But until I have another instance, and a source other than a couple of Tuscaloosa city councilors, I'm not going to buy this as a thing that's happened more than once (or at all).  I'm sure that some kids, somewhere, were having "rainbow parties."

/I'm also sure that I could find 2 city councilors in Alabama who think the pandemic is a result of widespread Chinese homosexuality

This is the outcome of our complicity.

To all my true American friends. Did you know that George Soros and the deep state have conspired to drive the price of a new truck too high for real Americans to buy with fake safety tests. Show your patriotism buy driving your car at 35 mph into a brick wall. Prove to the world that seat belts, airbags, and testing are a liberal plot to make us passive sheeple. Make it a game, who can stick the landing after being ejected.

Faster and fewer collateral deaths than COVID parties

"It's nonsense," McKinstry added. "But I think when you're dealing with the mind frame of people who are intentionally doing stuff like that and they're spreading it intentionally, how can you truly fight something that people are constantly trying to promote?"

Just pretend they are a black kid selling weed and I am sure you'll figure something out.

I remain skeptical of this story, even though given the nature of kids in general it sounds plausible. I am hopeful this is untrue but will lack surprise of confirmed otherwise.

I got to a lot of music festivals and few phrases are more exciting than to hear someone at a festival yell "Hold my drink and watch this!" (or equivalent). I will drop whatever I am doing, grab a drink, and head towards the commotion without even thinking.

I have seen... things.......

Is this anything like the Chickenpox parties parents used to hold for their kids so they'd get exposed to the 'Pox early, survive it, and be immune to it?

If we were sure that it's a once-and-immune type disease, well, i might be willing to bite the bullet, get it, quarantine myself for the 2-3 weeks, then be safe.

Unfortunately, that's not an option with the immunity wearing off after a few months.

Kids:

Back around 1993 or so my son was in the 8th grade.  He was quite a hunk.  One evening the phone rang.  He picked it up and answered "yes, no, no, no, no no" and hung up.  Couple of minutes later the phone range again, he answered "yes, no, no, no, no, no" and hung up.  This happed 8 straight times.  I asked him ". . . what was that all about."  He said "dad, you don't want to know."

Fast forward to the 11th grade, he and a bunch of his friends were over at the house and I asked his best friend about this incident.  He said Mr. . . . "I remember that, I'll tell you what happened (my son tried to get him to be quiet).

Apparently 8 girls had put 20 bucks in a kitty and the goal was to get my son to sleep with one of them.  Whichever got him to won the kitty.  Obviously none of them got the yes answer she was looking for.

I raised a very smart lad.

Yeah, plus side effects if you survive can include permanent nerve, lung, and other organ damage?  Pass.

The councilor are quoted as quoting actual doctors, and the alleged behavior surprises me zero percent.

This particular instance may just be rumor, but it's almost certainly occurring somewhere in the U.S.

Well, what's our long-term alternative? It's not like we can eradicate this, or its parent type of virus, from the face of the earth. It's going to be out there making the rounds. Plus, current data indicates that even a vaccine is unlikely, unless you get re-vaccinated every few months.

We can't permanently shut down everything, and we can't permanently all become isolationist.

No matter what we do (and no, I'm not saying we do nothing, either), we're all going to get it eventually, assuming we ignore the suggestion that the actual infection rate is much higher, just not diagnosed/confirmed with tests.

If they were really serious about this, they would stuff telephone booths full of students.

But where would they find telephone booths?

My guess is 1959. Drew should tell them how to use a time machine. Clear them out of our hair, scant though it may be.

We in the U.S. haven't really come close to either one of those things, despite all the whining by the Freedumb crowd.
