Tokyo Olympics will feature "fireworks" from space, basically a targeted bombing of their own upper atmosphere from sattelites in orbit to create the specific desired light shows.

Yes, they will go on. You don't often don't get the opportunity to demonstrate such precise orbital weaponry in such a clever, peace way before the whole world.

Rio - 51% over budget
London - 76% over budget
Montreal - 720% over budget. They finally paid off the debt 30 years later.
