Most modern supercars are like supermodels- they're gorgeous, but in this weird synthetic kind of way that just makes me think, "wow that's good looking", but not feel like I really want that in my life.

If I had that kind of money, I'd go for a Singer Porsche:

At first I thought that car was going so fast the roof buckled from the pressure as the wind passed over it. Then I realized it was parked and I thought the roof melted because they left the car parked there under the hot sun too long.

What a new Ferrari owner thinks is gonna happen: It's a Great Chick Magnet.

What actually happens: every mouth-breather from everywhere arrives, all wanting to race / masturbate on the dream machine.

Bonus: they're all call Chad...

I sure hope the splitter in the intake scoop is adjustable and computer controlled and puts the car into limp mode if it fails.

Otherwise, what's the point?

I'm happy I didn't go above 310 K during the pandemic.

I made 30% on my investments. But I only invested $50.

All 4, with all the options. In reality, I would just get 1, and re-invest the other $300k+ I had left

I'm far from a Ferrari fanboy, but speed is not the only metric by which you measure a car like this, and at least the Ferrari actually exists in an obtainable form.  Also, NOBODY who can afford the Ferrari gives a shiat about how much the oil change will cost. Those are "poor people problems".

You're right, I forgot that waaay more fat middle aged guys will wander up to you at the gas station and ask to take a picture with your ferrari. My bad. Gotta have priorities in your super car.

Oh, lots of people care. There are a ridiculous amount of Ferraris (and Lambos) for sale with under 20,000 miles on them. Lots of buyers have remorse once they find out the monthly/annual maintenance costs, and they sell them.

Nice to have, impractical to daily drive.  I would imagine that's a reason a significant portion don't have high mileage.

That article/"review" reads like paid sponsership for a product.

Also Ferrari now look like what McLaren were 15 years ago. Plus a dancing pony.

I'd drop another $60k-70k and go for an NSX. Real supercar with real build quality. The Corvette is a steal performance-wise but it's still clinging to that WOO MURICA interior and oh lawd the gaudy instrumentation overload.

NSX is really the only car (... I beg every other carmaker to try to compete in that segment, because there's nothing cooler than a daily driver supercar that costs less than a house, gets decent fuel economy, and makes everyone stop and stare) that bridges the drivability/performance/style/head-turning/yadda of American muscle as opposed to the traditional Euro supercars.

/yeah i love hondas so i'm biased
//anyhow i can't afford any of them so whatever (._.)
