"The mantra was: 'Back to the men and women in blue,'" Sessions told Times reporter Elaina Plott, referring to his message upon taking over the Justice Department. "The police had been demoralized. There was all the Obama - there's a riot, and he has a beer at the White House with some criminal, to listen to him. Wasn't having a beer with the police officers.

The cop was right there!

And the whole point was that Gates was mistaken for a criminal while "breaking into" his own house!

Well, you have to understand, when Jefferson Beauregard Sessions sees black man, he assumes he HAS to be guilty of SOMETHING.

The best plan is to trick him into saying, "Snoisses dragerueab nosreffej" because then he will be instantly forced to teleport back to his home dimension.

Gates should do Beauregard's genealogy. It could turn out to be amusing.

During a Reggie Watts standup thing a year or four ago, I learned the KKKeebler Elf had lost out on a major judgeship because he'd been found the be too racist to be a judge in ALABAMA.

Dumb redneck.  Guy was wrongfully arrested, idiotic right wingers (redundant) didn't like Obama's response, Obama got everybody to drink some beers to talk it out.  What's wrong with that?  Nothing.

Sessions is a dumb racist redneck with a faulty memory; what else is new?

I'm enjoying how racist Republicans (I know, I repeat myself) are getting (I know, they're being loud about it now) and eagerly await when they hoist David Duke back up to some prominence.

He'll probably head the RNC soon enough.

It's a kind of 'fun'.

How the fark does someone become so broken of a human that they treat other people this way?

Now I admit I'm a bit of an asshole on a good day, but even I have lines I won't cross. These "people" jump across every line with a farking pogo stick, then piss on the line while looking you in the eye.

Unless it's about himself, Trump doesn't pay attention to anything.

I'm sure Pa Trump and his clan buddies filled Two Scoops in on who David Duke is.

I'd say the real point is right there in what Sessions said. The racist assumption of a mainstream "conservative" that a black man is a criminal, or rather their hope to continue being able to use the law to ensure they are as often as possible forever.

This is 2020, and this is what "conservatives" are.

This is how crazy we are here in Alabama (we are 50th!), Sessions is going to lose the primary because he isn't wacko enough.  He is going to lose to an ex-football coach who has suddenly 'found Trump'.  Already running on the "Trump was appointed by God" platform, jumping on it before Sessions could claim he was the annointed one to bring Alabama out of the depths of uh, Christian Hell?!  Not sure how either of them claim that flag, but whatever.

Sadly, Doug Jones had been a good Senator, and pretty moderate and reasonable, with a great track record against the very things troubling this country now.  He has no chance.

Jones has one possible out: Attack Sessions for being a pathetic cuck and toady to (and this is very applicable to the state of AL) to "that Yankee in DC".

Unlike other R's, Trump doesn't play ball with people who he feels "betrayed" him, and Sessions is one of those people. Trump is vindictive enough to not even bother to endorse Sessions if he won the runoff, and would probably give Sessions more crap than Jones. MAGAites can't serve two masters - while they will give a Trump a vote, the same can't necessarily be said for Sessions. In that case, a non vote for Sessions is as good as a half vote for Jones.

Was that before or after Two Scoops called for 5 black teenagers to be executed for a crime they did not commit?

Also, if Tuberville won, Jones should give him a backhanded compliment about how he was courageous enough to call for the removal of the Confederate flag while he was coaching at Ole Miss. Might give the flag fetishists some pause when voting for him when he tries to explain himself to them why he had that stance. Hell, the way he left Ole Miss for Auburn alone might stir some opinions from the handful of Ole Miss fans in the state of AL.

Wow Jeff sessions was really worried we forgot how racist he was. He needn't have worried.

Or maybe he just knows how to appeal to the voters in alabama

Remember that one of the biggest cases he did in Alabama before he went to Washington was to bankrupt and destroy a white couple for having the audacity to drive elderly black people to the polls.  He lost but their legal costs destroyed them.

Despite Doug only doing what Schumer tells him to do, all of his campaign commercials say he's been working hard for Trump and with other Republicans to get things done.
