Headline of the farking article says "1 killed, 4 injured after SUV crashes into ER at Piedmont Hospital".  That's not an SUV.  Not even close.

That's a 'Mall Utility Vehicle'.
Has the ground clearance of a sports car, the cornering of a 4x4 and the cost of operation of an exotic.

Another Government Employee: I'm very familiar with this driveway. You wind around a couple of walls before you get to the parking deck entrance and if go too fast this is what happens. It also doesn't help the hospital has been under construction for the last two years.

That's because everything in Atlanta is built with duck tape and has to be rebuilt every 18 months.

Dnrtfa, was the driver an essential person doing essential things?  If not, the driver should have been welded into their home months ago. And not let out.  Then this wouldn't have happened.

It lacks the utility of an SUV, but has the high center of gravity.  Makes sense the driver makes poor decisions.

FTFY. That complex has been under construction for most of my lifetime. My pediatrician was in the now gone Sheffield Building.

My money is that in a few days we hear about some unintended acceleration lawsuit against Mercedes.
