I'd like to say I danced to that, but felt a little sheepish about it.

So I did a good bit of music for the CrypticSatellite song.  Mainly the launching into space section.  For inspiration, I plotted out a pentagon and a hexagon, two different sizes, and mapped their vertices and centers into chromatic musical tones, vertically, and timing, horizontally.  Then made the pentagon tones into a 5/4 meter set of power chords, and the hexagon tones into 6/4 meter power chords.  That covers the ascension of the Cryptic Satellite into outer space, and when it hits space, the EQ makes it sound like the air had been vacuumed out of the room.

The pentagon should be red like a ruby and the hexagon, blue like a sapphire.

And also the score of the random notes for acoustic instruments.

Fark really lets you zoom in on them.  You can really see the differences between the dozens of different types.  Different leaves, different heights and forms.  I didn't see any marijuana in there, but you'd never notice it with all the different pepper plant styles :)

Hmm, that could make a good album cover.  Not sure how to translate ruby and sapphire into musical notes, red could be hot and maybe a bit of distortion and ruby could be more clean, buzzy, maybe.  I'll plan to put the first section on the thread shortly.  The whole song is not really produced yet, the upfront section has more effort in it.

Will have to take a break from the CrypticSong to create some of the acoustic score for the EcmoRandomNumbers song, so you have a chance to practice, and translate it onto the Harp Guitar.  I'll have to figure out a way to add sitar to it, since otherwise the sitar stays in the box, if it fits, it would be rather random.

This guy rubs them with sake, puts them in a vacuum bag, and lets them go at 135°F for 6-8 weeks in a dehydrator.

I didn't have sake so I used some Bulleit rye.  I doubt there's any inoculant in the sake, and it probably just provides a little moisture.

I heard there is a garlic shortage coming, so the more you get the better.  Don't know if that is true, but any excuse for more garlic works.  Black garlic should work for vampires.  Thinking it is like baked garlic, but it sounds like it has some better effect, like ripe brie.  In fact, maybe ripe brie, with a black garlic clove smooshed on top on a hard cracker of some sort sounds as great as limburger cheese and onion on rye, with a beer, but probably like the caviar of cracker toppings.

Peaches, sour cherries, and apples. And there's an apricot tree across the street that the neighbor across the street said we could go after as much as we want. It's not warm enough here for figs. Those grow well in Phoenix, though.

I wish the thunderstorms would come. We're supposed to have them the afternoon of the 4th, like clockwork, though. They closed Tonto national forest today. If they close Apache-Sitgreaves, the 50,000 tourists we're supposed to have this weekend won't have a place to stay, hopefully. They can turn their asses back and go sit in traffic to get to Phoenix.
