So, Hair Furor knows about it NOW, right?

Is he gonna do anything about it, or is he just gonna keep on sucking Putin's dick?

he is a traitor.

2020-06-30 9:31:11 AM
What if it turns out that Trump* repurposed the Mexico's Wall Money to Putin for the bounties?

2020-06-30 9:43:39 AM
AP is reporting he knew in February/March, of 2019.

2020-06-30 9:48:55 AM
At least one report says the same Day Trump got the written briefing materials was the same day he hosted "Diamond and Silk" at the White House, so, you know, priorities...

And now he's calling it a hoax. What a moron

This.  He knows about it RIGHT NOW.  What's he doing?  Nothing.  Traitor.

I'm very interested to find out one day what exactly Putin had/has on Trump that made him such a servile dog.

OK, well, let's say he did not know about it. He knows about it now. What is the response?

I thought about that recently. Of course, Putin doesn't even need to actually have anything on Trump, Trump just needs to believe Putin has something.

It could be as dumb as back when Trump went to Russia for the Miss Universe pageant Putin had one of his guys say to Trump "remember those very young girls? Yeah we saw that" and done. Didn't even need to be true.

Sure he has, since the story broke he's gone golfing, retweeted a supporter of his yelling white power, and defended the confederacy some more.

At BEST, he is utterly incompetent and merely too stupid and lazy to be president. That's the BEST case scenario.

money laundering, most likely. no one would do business with Trump, then suddenly a fountain of cash appears out of Russia. If proven, our (real) government would seize his assets and everything he 'worked' for would evaporate, including his imagined legacy.

I think he's currently going with "it can not be corroborated" so he doesn't have to do anything.

2020-06-30 11:12:31 AM
The narrative is already being spun that the IC wasn't 100% sure of this intel (complete with the Press Sec insisting yesterday that "some people" were concerned about it's legitimacy). That's how they're going to try and get Trump out of this one. "He ignored it because it wasn't solid enough."

If that narrative fails, they will turn to "If it was legitimate and important, why didn't you do more to get Trump's attention?"

Fark this timeline.

2020-06-30 11:13:44 AM
Don't worry.  The official line will vector into "Trump got a briefing on the IC's belief that Russia was offering bounties on US soldiers killed.  Trump told the IC community that he'd impose harsh sanctions on Russia if they got more intel that firmed up those beliefs, but they never came back with more.  The mere belief itself was uncorroborated and, to date, no corroborating info has come to light."

This. It is a source of never-ending contempt for me that while this asshole was babbling about how crooked Hillary supposedly is, the "liberal" media could have been, you know, doing their farking jobs. Investigating an obviously crooked, compromised real estate developer running for president.

I'm honestly not sure who I blame more for the clusterfark we have now: the morons who voted for him or the "liberal" media.

The written briefing doesn't count because they used the wrong color of crayon and didn't draw any pictures of Trump surrounded by dollar signs and blonde wimmins with giant breasticles.

They are leaning heavily on implying it was an unverified rumor and as such is likely false.

And yeah, sounds like it was in the PDB but the White House is adamant that it isn't their fault if the intelligence agencies don't explicitly tell Trump the contents of it.

For a guy nobody believes the administration seems awfully intent on suppressing his book.

The range of possibilities:

1. Intelligence never informed Trump
- This would mean either intelligence leadership (appointed by Trump) is incompetent or they had no confidence in Trump's capacity to address the issue.  Either way, it shows Trump is incompetent and unfit for office. Overall, pretty unlikely, as intelligence issues lots and lots of briefings to the president.

2. Intelligence did inform Trump, but Trump chose to do nothing
- This would mean Trump is corrupt and a traitor and allowed it to go unaddressed for political or personal reasons, none of which were to the benefit of our country. This is possible, but not the most likely situation.

3. Intelligence did inform Trump, but Trump was unable to comprehend what he was told and did not seek clarification, then apparently forgot about it
- This would mean Trump is completely incompetent and unfit for his role. This is the most likely situation.

So the only real options are Trump is incompetent or* a traitor. Either way, he's unfit for the position.

* "and" would be more appropriate in general, but in this specific situation "or" is appropriate

It's not only vectored into that, the DNI is now saying that it was unverified information and the leaks have compromised the investigations so we may never know if it was true or not.

So now it's the leaker's fault for talking to the media on the President willfully ignoring that bounties were paid for killing American soldiers, and the media for reporting it, and because they did now we can't hold Russia accountable.

That's the one I bet they stick to because it puts the blame on who leaked the info, the media and lets Russia off the hook.

It's also completely farking stupid but that's never stopped them before.
