Don't forget about the Canary Islands tsunami. Wiping out the entire eastern seaboard and thus ensuring Trump's reelection seems right up 2020's alley.

They're probably just looking for cider, but watch out - they'll cut ya.

I actually had that happen once with a little mouse. I was a room away from the bathroom and heard a "bloop" coming from it. I got up and wandered in to see what it was, and there he was. A little mouse in the toilet. He had to come from the toilet instead of falling into the toilet because I had two cats between the entrance of the bathroom and the room I was in. A mouse couldn't have sneaked by them.

I took him outside and released him.

My two cats are about 5 now and they went through the shelter together- brothers from another mother. Thing is, while the older (by 2 months) apparently stayed with his mom for awhile, the younger was found super young and went right into foster. So nobody ever really taught them how to cat. As we headed into their first fall, we had a couple mice, like we do.

The first one they caught? Apparently they had an amazing time teaching themselves because I came down in the morning to find one extremely dead mouse, two exhausted kit-kats, and a kitchen floor that looked like CSI: The Home Game.

on't complain to the landlord if you find a cockroach in the toilet that cannot climb the sides either.  Complain to the department in charge of local sewers.  If you have time to waste.

Watched the city crew replace a sewer line.. 18" concrete pipe, replaced by plastic pipe..  have never seen rats that big before.. big cat size, and guessing I saw 80 or so.   Digger had a 4' wide bucket and would drop a load into the dump truck, at which point rats would erupt over the truck sides..  most of them headed for storm drains. Resident on that street had a pittie in his yard, which came over the fence and went ratting.. killed a couple dozen of them...
