That was my favorite movie growing up and remains in my top 10. I have been doing 80s movie night with my kids and I think this is the next one up on the docket.

One of my all time favs too. Surprised, but glad, the proposed remake never went ahead.

No matter what he does, Josh Gad makes me very, very angry.

Why is he a thing, exactly?

I know, right?  It's like the haven't even heard about Microsoft Teams!

Seriously, come up with a cure for covid-19, then you can complain. Also, NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO WATCH!

sorry if I seem a bit snarky, I've been stuck inside for months.

He's a thing because he has been a fairly successful working actor for the past 15 years on a variety of projects. Voice acting, Broadway, TV, etc.

Not a fan either.
Not sure why...

While these facts may be accurate, they do not make him any less annoying. He is someone who has made a career essentially playing the same character repeatedly, a character one would reasonably assume is the real Josh Gad.  He is an actor whose fame and success far outweigh his talent or ability.

All of which leads me to wonder why he continues to be a thing and when this nightmare will end.

I actually like these reunion things he's doing but it sort of gives me the douche chills when he makes the celebrities quote famous lines from their movies.

Not once did the actors look like they wanted to do it and they all seemed to be rolling their eyes that he was fanboying.

Also, for the most part, they don't remember the lines because to them it was just a job so it's kind of hard to watch.

It is funny how they just didn't bring up Jeffrey Jones during this reunion.

I mean I get it. But Rooney was a major part of that movie!!

I only hate it when they try to tell me things will be okay. I hate being told how to live, by people who couldn't name the person who pays their bills.

Didn't have Grace (the secretary), either.

We just did this movie with my 9 year old and she wanted to see it again. She was really bummed that there wasn't a sequel.

We did War Games the following week.
