They'll be back, they'll all go back eventually, because Facebook has one of the biggest audiences online. They'll make a big deal about standing up for what's right at this moment, but once people aren't paying attention, they'll quietly rekindle their relationship with Facebook and hope nobody notices.

30 whole days?  That'll show 'em ... you're making a publicity move that will probably get more media attention than 30 days of ads on Facebook.

Also: I'm just glad that awful battlesh*t blog isn't being greenlit anymore. I guess the author got tired of the abuse.

lol, this.

At a time when so many people are out of work and not buying new vehicles I have serious doubts that this isn't just "Hey, Billy, check this shiat out.  We can be totally woke and save some money while we're at it."

People stop paying attention pretty damned quick. In 2 months we'll be mid election season so BLM will be out and we'll be in the midst of outing trump fever season. Once Trump is out you'll see a quickly sedated populace.

Of course with the fall TV season possibly farked you'll have a ton of people all of a sudden without their sedation box running so who knows?

Starbucks is still listed as an @workplace customer on the @workplace advertising splash screen.  So they don't pay ad revenue but they are paying facebook for internal social networking.  I wonder if CC, Ford and all these others are using @workplace as well.

Does Facebook advertising work, is what they are questioning.  The vast majority of Facebook advertisers are small to medium businesses and Russia.

It must right? Who'd in the private sector would continue to spend that many billions if it didn't get any results?

Facebook will never be anything but a kingdom of hate bubbles where groups are setup to encourage confirmation bias. No one should be running add on Facebook ever again. Make people pay if they want that bullshiat.

This is such a win for these companies. They save advertising dollars, they get some street cred, and then they get FREE advertising from people talking about them NOT advertising.

Win/Win/Win

All platforms should ban ads from Starbucks until it gets rid of that racist company logo.
