Zuckerberg has hitched his star to the libertarian wet fantasy that he thought Trump was. he's an unbelievable sociopath, and will do nothing to stop the right-wing nut jobs on Facebook as long as they make him his money

The difference for anti-Trump ads is the bastard is a gold mine and never needs to be taken out of context.

Every Trump campaign video is going to be some deceptively shady super edited shiat that resembles Homer's testimony in Homer Badman:

Clinton. Blow job.

Which is worse?

Last I checked the only people getting their news solely from social media sites are Trump voters who, unlike the rest of us, don't immediately have a Jennifer Lawrence reaction as soon as the "this ad was paid for by the Trump campaign" text appears.

What f*cking sucks is that it doesn't have to be true. You just have to want to believe it. And their supporters want to believe.

And the GOP exploits this. Republicans demand this fantasy made up bullsh*t misleading reality.

And the President will call them stupid RINOs if they leave the cult.

Bad times.

Those both pale in comparison to Obama's paperclipgate.

I came here to say something like this.

Who is the audience for it? I highly doubt anything he does now will sway anyone into his camp. It sounds like fodder to rile up the natives again.

In fairness to those platforms, being attached to the Trump name automatically tells you that any post attached to it is nothing but lies. So labeling them as such is redundant.

Counterpoint: Reality has an inconvenient way of not reflecting the delusions of Trumpers, and there has been some (albeit glacial) movement of the poorly educated away from cadet Bone Spurs. The "bounties for scalps" thing has really rocked their world, from the reactions I've seen.

Soooooo... maybe there's a shred of hope?

Hope?  Hope?!

Maybe a year's reprieve.  Two at most.  Then they'll go back to being "bothered" by the rest of us and search for the next creature that will "hurt the right people" on their behalf.  They psychologically cannot own the fact that they bear some responsibility for using their franchise to put that pustule behind the resolute desk.

Either or both however you like so long as you'll admit you're the roasting pan and we're all over the same damn flame.

Actually, let's map that out because it does strike me as weird:
1. A statement of optimism that the right might learn,
2. My bitter retort and doubt that the right can learn,
3. You arrive with a snappy whatabout trying to reframe this on me

Nice.  Real helpful there.  You feeling like maybe the right can learn and I am wrong in my thinking?  Or are you identifying yourself with the right and my opinion struck a nerve?  Or maybe you're just offended in general to hear negative rhetoric?  There's a lot to unpack in that little line if you're interested.
