Chances are the mask requirement will be lifted by August come hell or high water.

Right after doubling the room rates, daughterbonking grifter that he is.

2020-06-29 12:54:15 PM
There's no way Trump would let actual MAGA's into Mar-A-Lago. Those people are poor.

Jacksonville is the second city in Northeast Florida to enforce a face covering requirement. On Friday, St. Augustine implemented a mask policy.

I would follow St. Augustine's lead too. A city that is over 400 years old must be doing something right.

The locals will be restless. Over half of people I saw during store trips today weren't masked, and many have the glazed "gubmint ain't goons tell ME wut ta do" look on their faces.
That being said, if fate smiles on us maybe they'll take the RNC clown show somewhere else.

2020-06-29 12:57:08 PM
That won't happen subby.

Palm Beach County has a mandatory mask order as well.

Trump ought to double down in his usual stupid manner and announce that the RNC will be at the Trinity Site in Los Alamos, NM.

Of course, he will say that no virus can live after such high doses of radiation.

They'll lift it for the convention.

Nothing to worry about.  I'm sure by August 24th the number of cases will go to zero, like magic.

Anastasia island is eroding, the bay front is safe, for now.
Another Hurricane like the last one (Andrew?) and it'll be bad

It sucked to live there, as a tourist destination I highly recommend it

Hopefully fines.

If we go into cold and flu season this fall with COVID19, which people may be able to get multiple times and we're not sure how much immunity having it previously actually provides, we'll either get a choice to mask or let the entire medical system in this country collapse.

Shh, he's on a roll.

And although NM doesn't need anymore covidiots here, it would be funny to see them get arrested/fined/etc. for disobeying the Governor's mask order, be surrounded by Hispanics and Native Americans and realize they're in a blue state.

/plenty of holes that need filling on the west side

Considering that in 2005, the City of Jacksonville did have to rent several cruise ships and dock them for use as hotels for visitors coming to the Super Bowl, I could see that happening.

It's a white flight "Bedroom Community" outside of Jax that's major claim to fame is tourism.

Masks are mandatory in Palm Beach. That'd be fun see, the police come in and take anyone not wearing a mask out, and the Health Dept. shut it down, and close Mar A logo indefinitely on the spot.

Of course they would. That's the point, if he's the only schlub around then he can fool himself into thinking he's in the high-class society he so desperately need to be in, but he's special enough to ignore the rules. Being surrounded by his actualpeople would bring into focus that the only difference between him and the trash that votes for him is he owns 50% of that group's ties.
