In reaction, Dylan said "shubbedgh, brmmmnnd SHOOO nvgnvvvv spng gnub" in a tone that was either exultant, modest, or perhaps asleep.

I'll take this Dylan, if you know what I mean... and I think you do.

Thanks for your hackneyed criticism of a man who can, in fact, sing.

I'll get slagged for this, but I don't know anyone under the age of 50 who listens to Dylan. Plenty of Boomer acts still resonate for the younger set, but strangely he doesn't. Having a hit album nowadays doesn't mean much. Mozart was the top seller a few years ago.

How many Albums do you have to sell to be in the Top 40 nowadays? 6?

Weird, considering how much he sucks. I mean, he really sucks. The funniest thing about how much he sucks are the people that say he doesn't suck only because they've been told he's amazing and they don't want to come across as pleabues who  aren't smart as what they project as the smartest people in the room. Reminds of people who think Black Panther was a great movie.

You're probably only hearing the Johnny Cash parts

Ha! Yes, that must be it. And we both know that Johnny Cash made a habit of recording duets with terrible singers, right?

Any problems with the vocals on this one?

[YouTube video: Bob Dylan - The Man in Me (Audio)]

Even if I were to believe that he can't sing, we could surely agree that the criticism has become cliché at this point?

Fifty years ago, dude. That song -- a thoroughly unexceptional vocal performance -- is half a century old.

That song is as far removed from Dylan's current vocal cords as the assassination of Franz Ferdinand is from The Times They Are a-Changin'.

I'm sure Cher could dust of the ol' windpipes and put out another auto-tuned album.
