It's not remotely Perry Mason though. Why they chose that property I have no idea, since they aren't using any of it past the characters.

That was my concern (haven't watched it). Love Perry Mason for what it was and don't want the whole "reboot" thing.

If you're referring to the conversation with the T-1000 on how Mason earned his blue ticket, he was deflecting by saying he was Welsh and queer.  The real reason is covered in the flashback.


Kinda threw me for a loop. In my defense, I was quite drunk.
