Kind of an allegory for 2020.

/ What with the leopards coming for faces and all.

Note to self, there's always a bigger predator.

My cat likes watching the cubs play in Born Free.  She also seems to like watching Skippy as long as there aren't any dingos.

I shouldn't have laughed so much at that.  Poor kitty

Feral Cat With Scissors: Note to self, there's always a bigger predator.

This came to mind:
Until a man is twenty-five, he still thinks, every so often, that under the right circumstances he could be the baddest motherfarker in the world. If I moved to a martial-arts monastery in China and studied real hard for ten years. If my family was wiped out by Colombian drug dealers and I swore myself to revenge. If I got a fatal disease, had one year to live, and devoted it to wiping out street crime. If I just dropped out and devoted my life to being bad.
Hiro used to feel this way, too, but then he ran into Raven. In a way, this was liberating. He no longer has to worry about being the baddest motherfarker in the world. The position is taken.

Back in the Eighties, Buick used to run TV commercials with a screeching hawk. Used to freak the hell out of my pet cockatiel.

/not a euphemism

They used to have VHS tapes of nothing but bugs flying around the screen, for cats to play with. Of course, this was before flat-screens. Our cats used to LOVE that one. They'd paw the TV and screech when they couldn't get the bugs.

Maybe 15 years ago there was a pest control company that had a roach crawl across the screen during their commercial.  Some lady watching tv saw it and threw a shoe or something at the tv and busted the screen.  She then attempted to sue the company as is the American way.

I had a cat that loved the beginning of Archer and would go after that bouncing ball. I did not enjoy the day he knocked the TV down.
