Here's a review from Roger Ebert's site.
Don't read it if you don't want to know anything.

The hiding place was pretty obvious.

You can't spoil a Romero movie. Everything that happens is so obvious.

Outstanding, thanks for the link.  I'd never heard of this prior to TFA.

a Pittsburgh-based organization called Lutheran Services approached the hometown hero to ask if he'd shoot something for them about the myriad ways society discriminates against the elderly. Eager to work, Romero agreed. "The Amusement Park" so appalled the Lutherans that they refused to release it

Bwahaha

So, the Lutherans finally relinquished their rights to the "work for hire" to the Romero estate? If not, this release could involve some lawyers.

Clowns?

Where are they getting that?  TFA makes no mention of clowns and neither does the THR link.

Martin?  Is it Martin?

Checks article... nope, not Martin.

Romero was a horror icon who made some classics and basically invented a genre but he did some terrible movies like Land of the Dead and everything after it. Dario Argento is mentioned in the article and they share the same fate, Argento today is a shadow of his former self and his movies after the 70's-80's are awful.

I love George Romero. I'm excited to see something new from him. Dawn Of The Dead is the greatest horror film of all time.

usually the people who say later-romero sucked had never seen this 1973 stinker.

It's slow, talky, boring and not at all creepy. Romero wanted to remake it at one point because he was deeply unsatisfied with the original.
I'll happily take Land, Diary or  Survival of the dead over watching THAT again.
