Kubo: I don't know.

But I can always use more Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Did you watch Brain Dead?

That show was bonkers.  Worth it for the "Previously On" songs alone

Dammit.  If only I hadn't watched that "previously on" video before posting.

Really? The movie is fantastically funny and the comics are so detail packed that I can't see an animated series being a bad idea.

Now "John Dies at the End" that was a turd adaptation of a mildly funny book. Lets focus out Saturday hate on that.

Crewmannumber6: Mugato: Is it just a video game where we get to punch him in the face repeatedly?

....he's not the kid from Zombieland, right? Because he's a little less punchable but I keep mixing them up.

Her role in "Devs" was a really interesting one...

Anime style? Ugh. I farking hate most anime. It'd depend on how it's handled. Why fix what wasn't broke with the original artwork?

What's not to like about a mumbling hipster stalking a woman at her job so he can cheat on the underage girl he was trying to fark?

I dunno, that feels like a trick question.

Do you mean more of the movie, which was a generic adventure flick about a child going on an adventure of mild self-improvement that makes him slightly more of an adult at the end?  I feel like we have more of that, that movie was literally every generic children's adventure movie ever made.

... or do you mean more of the comic, which was an utterly bleak, nihilistic black comedy about how everything is useless and anyone claiming otherwise is just being stupidly overdramatic, about a cast of characters that are uniformly genuinely horrible people and the ultimate "moral of the story" is that self-improvement is a malicious lie you tell yourself and no amount of life experience will ever make you any better... it makes you slightly worse, if anything?  Because we have more of that too, I can stream "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" while playing super mario whenever I want.

The movie was great, although it compressed the year of the comic into a couple of weeks, so Scott's growth felt a little forced.

untoldforce: The actresses who played Knives Chao and Ramona Flowers were basically the same age (around 25 yo), yet one is playing a 17 year old while the other is in her mid 20s.

Oh Hollywood.

Michael Cera was the second youngest actor in the movie. He was twenty to twenty-one while filming, so he was actually playing older. Brie Larson was the youngest at nineteen and Brandon Routh was the oldest at twenty-nine. I only know this because I had just recently seen a YouTube video about Scott Pilgrim where they detail a lot of small details you don't notice.

Yeah, I'm totally a teenager. My step-daughter Liv can vouch for me.

Ahh, the mysterious Lily from Empire Records. I keep waiting for the clips of her scenes that were cut from the movie to pop up. One day they will appear, hopefully before I die of old age.

No.  The answer is no, we don't.

That movie finished its story.  Let it go.

Why don't you just learn to think for yourself and like what you like and not care what people think? This isn't school anymore...
