FTFA: After arguing that the president can still define the election through school choice and being the right candidate to lead on the post-pandemic economy, the board surmised Trump will have let down all who voted for him in 2016.

Both barrels my ass. They're basically telling Parscale how to pivot Trump's numbers.

Let me know when they start threatening all those $650k/year "struggling families" with minor tax increases again.

They're still giving him credit for his crappy response and blaming the media.  It's not like they're helping him learn the right lessons.

They can fark right off.

The media. I'm really getting sick of the only part of the media that calls Trump out on his outright bullshiat are the late night talk show comedy guys and yet the rest of the media are constantly being accused of being liberal and of course "fake".

After arguing that the president can still define the election through school choice

Who in this nation is waiting for him to pontificate on school choice before making their decision on who to vote for?

and being the right candidate to lead on the post-pandemic economy

There won't be a "post" pandemic with him in charge.

This analysis is clown shoes.

His administration can't even say the words "wear a mask" because of Trump's pathetic ego.

Well, it's hard for the WSJ to mutter "Feel the Bern" with both barrels in its mouth.

So they aimed it at Trump, for protection because they know he'll go ballistic when they tell him. "Hey fella, folks don't like you anymore, fix your ass before Joe Biden hands it to you!"

Look at his face in that picture, it already looks like one half of it isn't responding to commands, as he tries to smile.

Carter and Trump. The two are such an interesting study in one-term presidential bookends.

Jimmy Carter, who voluntarily served his country during the cold war as a scientist and a military officer, who stayed married to the same woman for 75 years, who sold his family farm to avoid even the impression of financial impropriety, who spoke freely throughout his whole life about his deep faith and its moral imperatives, who was active in the civil rights struggle from the 1950's on, who successfully shepherded a Middle East peace deal that ensured the safety Israel's western border and has stood for more than four decades, and who after losing reelection in the middle of a massive global economic crisis went on to dedicate the remaining 40(!) years of his life to eradicating horrible diseases, resolving thorny international conflicts, providing homes for needy families, and teaching children's Sunday School at his neighborhood church.Conservative American

Evangelical Christians HATE him. (I know this because I heard - firsthand - massive amounts of venom and bile directed at him when I myself was a young conservative in the late '80s and '90s.)

And on the other hand you have Donald Trump who dodged the draft, shuffled his way through business school with middling grades, illegally received a half-billion dollar fortune tax-free from his slumlord Klansman father, made a name for himself by covering mediocre things in gold and slapping his name on top of them, acquired a reputation as a bigot, a sexual predator, and a mafia money launderer (for both American and Russian gangsters), couldn't make money selling red meat, liquor, or casinos to Americans, ran dozens businesses into the ground, continually cheated on all of his wives, got banned from ever running a nonprofit again because his "charity" stole money intended for children with cancer, revived his failing image by pretending to be a successful business man on a TV "reality" show, openly fantasized about having a sexual relationship with his daughter, bullied his way into the GOP presidential nomination, repeatedly solicited the assistance of America's enemies to win the presidency, installed unqualified family members as senior members of his administration, coasted on (and took undeserved credit for) the economic successes of his predecessor, spent the first three years of his presidency generating false crises to distract from the rogues gallery of opportunistic profiteering, incompetent, and anti-immigrant racist bigots that he paraded through the highest levels of American government, and failed spectacularly when faced with actual national crises to the tune of a cratered US economy and more than 100,000 preventable American deaths. When he is done with his time in office he will do no charity, attend no church, and serve no cause other than his own (assuming he lives much beyond his exit from office). His legacy will be an unbridgeable gap between his acolytes and their horrified children and grandchildren, and historians will wonder at the unmitigated stupidity of it all while a handful of conservative think tanks and publishers print countless unreadable volumes of drivel attempting to polish his wet turd of a presidency.

Conservative American Evangelical Christians LOVE him like he was the second coming of Ronald Reagan. And he is killing them (both as a culturally relevant institution, and quite literally through his mishandling of the COVID19 crisis).
