Psychics are like weathermen. They can be wrong 99/100 of times and everyone is like, "Well, that figures". But they're right once and people are like, "Wow, they know what they're doing".

Back in the high days of usenet, on alt.pagan, we decided that *real* psychics call *you*, and tell you your credit card number.

After reading TFA, I'd award her 53.186 British pounds and a warning to be less clumsy and to look where you were you were putting your feet next time.

The hotel should just get rid off all furniture, fill in the pool, and lay down a bunch of rubber padding all the ground, and then close of the entire area.

Except that weather prediction has gotten demonstrably better over time, while psychics are every bit as BS as ever

That, and scammers who already have your details and want you to believe they're psychic and sell you next week's lotto numbers to clean out your bank account AND your credit card.

I think with weathermen we are moving the goalposts.  We always want the forecast farther and farther out.  The idea of a reasonably accurate 10 day forecast was silly when I was little.  I haven't seen any studies, but I bet they are more accurate at 10 days than they were at three when I was a kid.

I'm still impressed with the psychic who knew last October exactly which garage Bubba Wallace would be assigned in the Spring.

The high days of usenet were the early nineties, dude, not the seventies.

I have a psychic. He predicted covid, he just called it something else. And instead of a virus he thought it would be a new fashion style. But it seems like he was close. He did say many people would die, but just from embarassment.

Being a psychic is such a noble and trustworthy profession. So there is definitely nothing suspicious at all about her compo claim.

Psychic developed a phobia of falling?
Obvious bullshiat is obvious.
The fear of falling is so innate, it's damn near a biological function. A baby will freak out if it thinks it will fall.

"I blindly walked through an area that was too dark to see, and subsequently I tripped," sounds like something that nobody except the idiot involved should be liable for.

Nice to see that the United States does not have monopoly on frivolous lawsuits and mentally challenged judges.
