Well overall disapproval is 58%, and the ratio of Strongly disapprove to disapprove somewhat is almost unheard of.   Disapprove is a likely vote for t'other guy, but a potentially changeable mind.  Strongly disapprove is pretty much a locked in vote for the opponent

Until now, all the crap the Shiatgibbon was pulling didn't directly affect a lot of people's lives. With COVID and the economic collapse, that has changed.

Well, 100% of Senate Republicans think he's doing fine. So I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I'm sure Americans will start approving of him more when they find out he has protected them from the knowledge that the Russians have been paying people to kill US soldiers.

I have coworkers who have pointed to the $1200 stimulus as all the reason they will happily pull the leaver for him, especially if he gets another one out before election day.

It takes all kinds.

Please take these kinds elsewhere. Preferably some kind of leper colony where they can only be cruel to each other. We'll build Trump's wall around it, they can paint it whatever color they like. Shiat I'll give them the current US flag to keep. We can design a new one to show a clear change from our previous iteration.

It should be MUCH higher. That it isn't is an indictment of our "liberal" media, to name just one institution that's failed us.

Yes, some only disapprove.  That's where Trump should concentrate his campaign message.  "I know you think I'm awful, but at least you don't think I'm terrible! Vote Trump."

A Bachelor's degree isn't indicative of the same level of education today as it was in our parents' time. It's a side effect of the pressure to get kids into college no matter what.

But surely the standards are such that those undeserving of a degree due to poor...you know, I couldn't even finish it.  I couldn't even finish it.

I've been told by some that people won't vote for Biden just because he isn't Trump.

If true doesn't that mean that Biden is winning over people in droves by doing nothing but releasing the occasional YouTube video free of drooling and ranting?

Or maybe are more and more people realizing Trump needs to be stopped?

Unfortunately, the problem ISN'T the people who disapprove of Trump.

I found one of these today two aisles over from me at a CVS.  Older lady, probably in her early 60s, badgering a poor 20-something employee over whether she was planning to vote for Trump in the fall or if she's embracing the specter of "Venezuelan-style soshulizm" that will wash over the country with a Biden win.  Couldn't really tell if the employee was earnestly agreeing or just felt cornered by someone that obviously has lost anyone in her life worth arguing with.  I just shook my head and left.

I've got a cousin who is an opthalmologist who is a huge Trump supporter. I've got a best friend with a JD and a LLM who doesn't support him, but believes he's a better candidate than Biden. Another friend with a Masters who voted Trump in 2016.

I've pretty much thrown away the idea of "college = smart."

My 401k is doing ok, but then it was doing ok under Obama too.

My federal taxes, however, have gone up by several thousand dollars a year because of the cap on the SALT deduction in Trump's tax law.

Not that I was ever a fan of Trump, but I'm sure that didn't win him any popularity among college-educated suburban professionals.
