Did the virus go away in April, with the heat?

Biden could shiat his pants in the middle of 5th Avenue and it wouldn't change a single vote against trump.

2020-06-26 9:36:45 AM
Trump couldn't even accuse Biden of not being able to speak coherently, in a coherent manner.

2020-06-26 9:54:53 AM
That does it America.  We do not want to be the laughing stock of the world.  You must vote to re-elect President Trump.

Really? Biden saying 120 million instead of thousand is all they can find? When Trump cites any kind of numbers it is like a stream of RNG.

2020-06-26 10:06:58 AM
Barrack Obama never said there were 57 States.

But it is a handy "fact", because you can immediately write off anyone that brings it up (unironically) as someone not worth communicating with.

2020-06-26 10:07:15 AM
He said 120 million dead instead of 120 thousand dead? That's way worse than killing them.......

2020-06-26 10:07:27 AM
It truly is an amazing thing for anyone in Trump world to disparage someone else for not speaking perfectly.

The disconnect is incredible.

Joe Biden could take off his pants on stage and start rambling about space aliens and not lose a single vote to dumb Donald.

The guy in charge, after like two months of supposedly regular briefings on the pandemic was just astounded that antibiotics didn't kill viruses and willing to recommend using bleach and UV lights internally. But sure, this Biden gaffe is like totally the dumbest thing anyone has said since the 57 states remark.

What was the real unemployment rate under Obama? 50%? I think that's what he said.

So "gaffe a minute" Uncle Joe screwed up when speaking? I guess the big difference is he'll admit he f**ked up and correct the information. Trumplethinskin, unfortunately, doubles (or even quadruples) down rather than admit he "misspoke" (lied) by making vague pronouncements about how "people" say he was right.

2020-06-26 10:12:51 AM
And yet the stupid shait Trump says regularly makes Biden look like a genius.

Much concern

2020-06-26 10:13:32 AM
Biden makes a gaffe. 120 million vs 126 thousand.

Trump takes numbers he was given 5 minutes ago, doubles or halves as required, using that as a starting base to inflate it to whatever he chooses, whenever he chooses at any given, political expedient, time he chooses.

OK.

And then he biatches when they do.  Relentlessly and erroneously.

To put the difference between Trump and Biden's misstatements in somewhat unpleasant terms:

It's easy to pick out a single turd floating in the pool.  It's much harder when you've been dumped into a septic tank.

This seems to be the gist of Trump's campaign strategy. Pointing out Biden's gaffe.

But then again, what else can they run on?

Make sure to repeat only 122K deaths so far over and over to push back against this mix up. Definitely saying 122K dead with no current national effort to mitigate the spread of the disease over and over will really undermine Biden's argument for election.

He then gave up on a toy chicken leg he had dumbly been trying to eat for a couple hours, challenged it to a fight, then called it a "loser".

It is fascinating to watch him lean in and deny a mistake was made; "What's wrong? That's his nickname, Tim Apple. Everyone calls him that."

Don't care, still a better choice than the current incumbent.

2020-06-26 10:23:03 AM
Here's the major difference between Biden (or Obama, or Clinton, or any other politician) and Trump:

Upon hearing about his gaffe, Biden might chuckle, say "whoops!", and correct himself, knowing it's not true and he made a mistake.

Upon hearing about his gaffe, Trump would double-down, not only convincing himself that we actually did have 120 million dead, but he'd start calling up other state officials to get them to skew the numbers to make the 120 million dead a "real" thing.  But, of course, by that time, he'd exaggerate the number, increasing it to 140 million dead, and his underlings would soon have to hit the airwaves to solidify the fact that, yes, 140 million were dead from the virus.  That is, until Trump came out a minute later and says "oh, I meant 140 BILLION!"

It's Carter/Nixon all over again.

For the Millennials here, in 1980 incumbent President Jimmy Carter(D) ran against Ronald Reagan(R).  Reagan liked to lie.  A lot.  Just about every speech was full of them.  Back then there was no internet, making fact checking slow and painful so instead the press simply began holding Reagan to a lower standard.  The more he lied, the less was said about it while every gaff Carter made got magnified to the Nth degree.
