FTFA: Green appreciated that Murphy's reports offered concrete solutions: guaranteeing four-year scholarships; providing health coverage for athletes that persisted beyond their college years in cases of life-altering injuries suffered during participation in sports; establishing safeguards that guarantee athletes enough time to focus on classes; instituting tougher crackdowns on universities caught in academic fraud scandals.

These are all very good changes that I can't understand any reasonable person being against.

As a Cavs fan, I have no love for the Dubs, but Green was the only one that showed up to play when they needed him in 2016.   He's dirty, but he is a big-time gamer.

yeah the NCAA is going to take baby steps on this they have never shown any willingness to change any more than they absolutely had to to fix or address an issue. hell if the California law had not brought this to ahead then they would have done nothing but discussed* the issue in committee for years while deciding nothing.

* sitting around sipping cocktails and thinking up excuses for why they have not done a damn thing yet.

Is having to be proficient in Math and English going to be required before giving a scholarship? You know equality and all.

And for that I blame the schools that pushed them through because of their athletic talent... So that one HS coach could get a job a a div 3 school.
