STEP-brother. You always have to clarify that.

Cable news is toxic nonsense that should be avoided under any circumstances.  This should be a bridge too far for even those vapid assholes

America has opinion networks, not news networks.

He's not the "best", but he's been pretty damn good for the state.

Funny, the more tests they do in NY the lower the cases, as if Trump is just talking pure weapons grade bullsiat still. Meanwhile, in California fewer tests are seeing a boom in cases, like in Florida, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia and so forth.

It's as if the disease came first and the tests came too little, too late, for some. Or not at all where Trump's opinions are worth microscopic specks of faeces.

But mentioning The T-bone person and Truth in the same system would be absurd.

NY took some drastic measures early on and it worked. We're still seeing adjustments to phases as well, nothing is clear cut until the day it happens. The second part of the third phase starts tomorrow, which is indoor restaurants at 50% capacity, and certain retail places. Gyms, malls, other enclosed businesses cannot open yet. If cases go up, shiat starts shutting down again.

He stayed the course and ignored growing pressure to open, other states didn't, and the worst part is that those states aren't willing to go backwards either. They'll pause where they are, which is really dumb in most cases. The deaths lag behind case counts, so the worst is yet to come.

And some people would point out that 'early' still wasn't early enough.  Cuomo made some mistakes, and some political calculations, in a normal world his response would be judged average at best, but in America, he looks like a genius compared to the average governor (or president)

He kept a lot of us sane and Reassured through March and April. On top of that he freakin worked every damn day and got us the hospitals we needed. If he hadn't been in charge bodies would be in the streets right now I'm pretty sure. I heard sirens 24 hours a day for a month. Ok. I'm done now and may not agree with everything Andrew does/done but damn, he's got my loyalty and I will vote him into any office runs for.

It's his brother. What do you expect him to say? Is it some kind of big deal or something? Journalist says he likes his brother, follow this tragic scandal with news at 11.

I think you are very under valuing what he pulled off. And yeah we should have shut down two weeks earlier but I understand the choices of the time and can't fault him. No one really gets how bad this is until it hits hard it seems.

I'm uncomfortable with the Anchorman of a major news network being the brother and son of political royalty.  It's not a good look.  And I generally like Cuomo as an anchor.

Andrew Cuomo's doing well with New York, sure, but this is a major cable news channel devoting repeated on-air segments to the "Cuomo Brothers" so that one of their official, supposedly-unbiased main desk reporters can fawn shamelessly over their elected-official brother for long segments of airtime.  It'd be like Fox News hiring Ivanka to a news desk, treating her as a serious reporter for their main segments, and then cutting to give her weekly airtime for the Half-Hour Ivanka-Donald Power Hour for her to gush sweetly about how great a job Dad is doing.

If we want to shut Fox down for its blatant calorie-free truthlessness and constant lying, we have to hold major networks to account when they put journalistic integrity to sleep in favor of celebrity stunts for ratings.  You should be raising your voice over this too, or Fox will just point to the Cuomo Brothers and cry "BSAB" the next thousand times they're caught shiatting on the concept of ethical journalism.
