He won't get a new plan. He thinks his current plan is the best plan. He thinks he knows more than anybody on any subject, so he's not gonna change for you because you say he's wrong. Asking him to is a good way to piss him off and make him dig in more.

If you dare tell trump "stop hitting yourself", he will pull his hand out of yours and punch his own face even harder to teach you a lesson about domination.

So much winning.

GOP Senators have a great opportunity to help in July, when the unemployment bump ends.  Keep that and help small businesses and let Trump take credit.  I have a feeling they'll help the wealthy and "the market" again.  But the opportunity is hanging there like a slow pitch across the middle of the plate

shiat, it's on a tee. Literally all they have to do is swing

You haven't figured him out yet, have you? If you want him to change, get the Democrats to compliment him.

Trump doesn't want new voters, he wants to hold on to his original voters. But the tighter you squeeze your fist, the more sand falls between your stubby fingers.

According to the Senators they interviewed, Trump just needs to "message" a broken economy and 125,000 dead Americans (and counting) better.

Cheetolini is unable to conceive of, much less execute, any other plan than giving voice to his id.  At best he could read a pre-written speech ofh a teleprompter and we know how inspiring he is with that.

Don't underestimate the stupidity of us Democrats, either. We recently had an election with candidates who promised and planned for all of the above, but we apparently wanted the guy who wasn't hyped about doing any of that.

2020-06-25 12:13:22 PM
Trump was going to face a major crisis at some point, whether this year or after getting reelected. The GOP, who have access to him more than anybody, know he would make that crisis into a disaster. There's just no way of witnessing this guy and thinking he can handle a broken shoelace without torching piles of shoes.

The GOP, knowing this, kept pushing him anyway. All that matters is consolidating power and pushing more agenda. The country and its thousands of dead? Don't matter.

2020-06-25 12:13:42 PM
Dear top GOP Senators, we gave you a chance in January. You farked it up. fark off with this shiat.

2020-06-25 12:13:53 PM
If the last few months have proven anything, it's that Trump is both incapable and unwilling to do anything else. He's a fake persona built around an empty shell.

2020-06-25 12:13:54 PM
Well, you know what would distract everyone from the plague, economic collapse, and close associates being indicted for either near-treason or raping teenagers? A war! Iran is a great target, and the Saudis would probably fund most of it. Certainly they would lend their propaganda apparatus to support it.  Start bombing in early October, ground invasion on November 1st. That way the catastrophic disaster of attempting to occupy the country will happen after the election.

2020-06-25 12:13:55 PM
Telling Trump to not do something?  Good Luck.

DO NOT CONGRATULATE

He'll quadruple down on the "Liberal Sleepy Joe is a liberal" routine and wonder why he will be down by 20 points in the polls in September

2020-06-25 12:15:26 PM
Republicans say President Trump should make a course correction and shift his strategy after a series of dismal polls showed him badly trailing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Wat?!? Bunkie shift strategy? You're kidding, right? The only thing he knows is to dig deeper, not up.

But go ahead and proceed. We'll be watching in horror as we nervously laugh at his antics.

But we all know the new strategy is going on without him. Cheating. It is already in full swing.

2020-06-25 12:15:29 PM
Trump will not adjust.  Trump expects everyone else to adjust to him (because that's how narcissists operate).  Trump will continue to act like he did in 2016 because he expects the same results.

I hope he drags as many down with him as possible. My 'give a fark' meter for GOP Senators won't budge. Bloomberg reported today that he is flailing in almost every state that gives him any chance of winning the electoral college.

You bet your ass they are terrified.
Let's take every chance to remind them they could have gotten rid of this shiat-stain.
First he was a useful idiot. Now he is a risk.
Either way they were too gawdamned cowardly to challenge him on any front.
Fark them and their constituents.

"Isn't hyped about it" is, sadly, still better than "would die before allowing it"

One thing stands out reading that, I can't be the only one to notice.

GOP person 1: He needs to change his messaging.
GOP person 2: He needs to change his messaging.
GOP person 3: He needs to change his messaging.

The problem isn't the messaging, assholes, the problem is the MANAGEMENT. His ACTIONS - and those of the complicit GOP - are the problem, not his advertising. He's doing an atrocious job. People are sick of him doing an atrocious job, and now essentially committing genocide in the American public.

We've now lost more Americans than have been lost in any war we've fought except the Civil War and WWII. And we're on pace soon to have lost more Americans to COVID than all wars but those two COMBINED. His criminally insane management has resulted in a shattered economy that probably hasn't even seen the worst of the damage yet, giving America it's SECOND GREAT DEPRESSION.

Then there's the corruption right out in the open, the steady parade of unqualified and unsuitable people being appointed to roles in his administration farking up America's own government from the inside before being summarily fired by tweet and replaced with someone somehow worse. And then the daily abdication of his duties, spending all day yammering on Twitter or golfing instead of doing his farking job. And etc.......

None of that is a messaging problem, it's a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM. The fact that the GOP members keep thinking it's a messaging problem reveals some of how they think. They literally do not care how well the country is run. They just want to be in power.

Vote them out. Every single Republican - yes, even the "good ones". The GOP must be shattered before there's a chance for a new, hopefully saner, party to rise from the ashes - so we need to keep voting them out no matter how many elections that takes to happen. This is an existential threat to our nation.

At some point some of non-stupid GOP senators have to realize they are not going to win being tied the the Trump Anchor and break away.

It's almost as if sending people to their deaths to die for the economy and hiding in his bunker when people are fed up with the systemic racism in our law enforcement branch were not great ideas.

Trump's re-election doesn't depend on anything he says. It depends on effective voter suppression, court challenges to the results, and a compliant Supreme Court.

Odds are still uncertain.

Please Mr. "president," DON'T change the course. You (snicker) obviously know more than these know-nothings! Just keep doing what you've been doing so far. In fact, ratchet up the rhetoric to ensure your (snerk) victory!

Trump is a one trick pony. Unfortunately the trick involves him just taking a steaming dump.

2020-06-25 12:23:33 PM
Trump judges the success of his campaign by people cheering him at his Klan rallies.  It doesn't matter that they can't fill arenas in the deepest red states -- as long as there are people there still chanting "Lock her up!" even after all this time, he thinks he's on right track.

2020-06-25 12:23:53 PM
What part of "never admit you were wrong" as the single most sacred covenant of  Trumpism are these guys missing?

They could announce their support for all of the legislation that you listed, but we all know they have no intention of actually passing any of it. And that's their biggest problem this election cycle. People are waking up to the fact that despite their rhetoric, the GOP just doesn't give a shiat about the average American. They will only pass a bill to help the average man if it also includes massive tax cuts and deregulation of for their donors and business interests.

I would love to see Trump try to put on a sympathetic face. It would be hilarious. And it would last about five minutes.

I'm a Canadian. It's the United States' manifest destiny to entertain us non-Americans. You've been doing a great job lately. Never a dull moment!
