Can someone please explain the draw to me?  It just seems like a televised train wreck.

You see, if someone was to film a tv show of two trains crashing into each other, it would be ratings gold.

People turn to these types of programs to be able to say, "Wow!  My own life seems not-so-farked-up by comparison to these people!"

Another reality trash tv celebrity. Good thing he went to prison, he could have been the next POTUS.

Glad to say that's yet another syndicated toilet fire that I'm not familiar with.

OK, I mean, fun is fun, but, aren't we over this already?
The jokes have been made.
The memes have been distributed.
You just got to the party that ended an hour ago and the hosts are already cleaning up and turning off the lights.

Depends. Now we're waiting to see if Trump pardons him.

These aren't my types of shows.

But I got badgered into watching two episodes and subsequently binged the rest in the next day or so.

It really is something else.

They did this in the early 1900s at State Fairs and the like.  Apparently it drew big crowds.

/The 2 trains in this video are named NRA and Old Man Depression.  Seems timely.

I can get wanting to watch an *actual* trainwreck.  Same reason demo derby and monster jam is a thing.  It's cool.  THAT I get, and there's medical staff right there if anybody needs it.  Eh.  I'm probably clutching pearls too hard.  They're competent enough to sign a contract, incompetent enough to be entertaining.

But for those Robert Stack Unsolved Mysteries types?  I see enough conspiracy theories and mental gymnastics without even looking that I wonder if they thought they were MENSA material for solving an Encyclopedia Brown case.
