These punk ass biatches have been clamoring for a revolution for ages, let them try.
Cooler heads will prevail, it is just a matter of how bad it has to get for them to act.

Old and busted (pardon the pun):

The Federalist's Ben Domenech is worried that it could, with the rise of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump representing the proverbial canary in the coal mine. "Donald Trump could transform the Republican Party into a coalition focused on white identity politics," reads the subhead on Domenech's article. "We've seen this in Europe, and it's bad."

https://reason.com/2015/08/21/republican-party-white-identity-politics/

Seriously, they were REALLY concerned that Trump might damage the brand back then:

From the Reason article above:

In some circumstances, this pox-on-both-their-houses frustration feeds into a fondness for libertarian ideals and limited-government candidates. But in the case of Trump supporters, the frustration seems to stem from Democratic and Republican inaction in areas-such as tightening border security and stanching immigration-where libertarian policies will likely provide little solace. Still, it's perhaps not all bad news for liberty if the GOP becomes purely the party of white butthurt.

It's been clear for years that the old-school conservative coalition of classical liberals, crony capitalists, disgruntled working-class whites, and "values voters" isn't really working. What's more, millennials are fleeing the GOP en masse, even as they embrace certain typically-Republican values, like capitalism and abortion opposition, more than recent-generations past did in their youth. Maybe a Republican Party built largely on white identity politics (à la European populist movements) could actually aid in the birth of that libertarian moment we keep talking about.

/Actually, it is now glaringly obvious that having one of the two major political parties become purely the party of white butthurt is bad.
//Very, very, farking bad!
///Because the birth of the libertarian movement as an alternative didn't actually happen, and like "fetch," it's never gonna happen.
////It's almost as if these libertarians are only concerned about liberty for butthurt white people who DON'T want any liberty for black people.
//Did I say "almost"?

"Hey, maybe if the laissez-faire ideology of the GOP becomes so acceptable to overt racists, normal people will flock to OUR party, even though OUR laissez-faire ideology is just as attractive to overt racists!"

/LOL!

Great, now I'm going to have to become a "BLM protester".

2020-06-25 6:10:34 AM
I don't think you want to approach a BLM protest this time - mainly because they wised up from several years ago and purchased firearms for their protection. You should be happy that they did that and don't rely on government employees for that purpose, right?

Well, go right ahead, pussy. Head on down to Lafayette Square and stand up to the people that want to take those monuments down.

Their concern seems largely resolved.   The GOP has decided they're mostly fine with white identity politics.   And most of their media boosters saw which way the wind was blowing themselves.

"Wrapping themselves in the language of the Founding Fathers, filling their buildings with quotes, books, busts, statues, and artist's renderings, conservatives have thrived by making themselves the defenders of American history against a verbally iconoclastic left."

"Additionally conservatives are incredibly attractive. They excel like no other in art, science and sport. They are in peak phsyical condition and live long glorious lives in service to White Jebus™, the greatest conservative to ever exist. Also conservative passion and kindness is unparalleled, and they make the best chocolate chip cookies."

They think they will win with a series of tactical victories, and by fighting dirty.

Forgetting, of course, that two can fight dirty. Also forgetting, of course, that both the Confederacy and the Axis started their wars with superior leadership and cunning strategies.

Cunning strategy doesn't help when the other side can simple mass enough forces to pulverize your forces, march on your cities, and burn them to the ground.

There are 330,000,000 in the United States. 25% of the population affiliates with the GOP. Do the math.

Yeah, there are some major problems with this.  First, the only people who give a fat rat's ass about those statues are the radicals who are tearing them down.  Which accomplishes what exactly?  Ohhh, I'm so butthurt about a statue!  Hey, get a life, eh?

The second reason is that the SCOTUS has given blacks special snowflake civil rights protection.  So if they attack the statues, the race card allows them to say "oh, it's an act of civil disobedience".  But if you attack them, that same race card allows them to get an army of civil rights attorneys, already assembled by the Southern Poverty Law Center and paid for by the United States government-- and charge you with a hate crime.   With the media circus of the progressive press doing their victory dance on your ruined life.

So even if you actually care about those statues (why?) if you have any assets at all you wouldn't risk them.  Unless you're a complete fool.

Nobody spent much time staring at tits when you could see everybody's tits all the time.

The idea that they're a secret shameful sexual organ intended to entice men is a recent invention.

(And I for one am grateful for the invention.)

So people tearing down statues of racist pieces of sh*t that committed treason against the US are "radicals"? What the ever loving f*ck is wrong with you?
If there was still a Mussolini statue in Italy and people tore it down, would they be "radicals" too?

Is this a joke?  The SPLC is donor funded, not government funded.  BLM is not strictly an African American movement, it now includes NFL team owners, police officers, and folks from every race, religion, and occupation.
And it's true, those Miranda rights the police must tell you by order of the SCOTUS inform of your right to not talk to the police and that an attorney will be provided free if you can't afford one.  We also have a bunch of other civil rights, enshrined in the constitution and other SCOTUs decisions.  But who actually uses public defenders more?  Poor white people of course.
BTW, the majority of monuments so far have been removed lawfully by local and state governments, back in 2017.
You might want to read about the Lost Cause, Christopher Columbus and his sponsor's crimes against humanity, and realize that any defense of the confederacy, Christopher Columbus (or his conquistador peers), is rooting for the bad guys.
