California's 30th congressional district lies between Simi Valley and Pasadena. The median income is slightly over $80,000 per year. This guy is what we in California call a whack job conspiracy theorist with a hat.

With that hat, he's not riding a motorcycle anywhere, so it's an honest mistake.  Unlike this guy's entire schtick.

He's riding a Harley, but that watch looks Swiss, and the shirt was probably made in Bangladesh.

For a split second I thought he was American Indian, and wearing a sort of poncho.

But with the Maldives in the background, sitting on a... Harley? Wait... what?

Does it say that was shot in the Maldives? Looks like Chatsworth to me.

Just that ridiculous almost fake looking blue.

Fair enough. As a native Southern Californian, that looks local to me.

Besides, the guy is a RWNJ. Surely he would rather spend his vacations right here in 'Murica instead of somewhere he probably couldn't even place in the correct hemisphere.

Giant Clown Shoe: He is also the co-host of the internet-based weekly talk show The Voice of Reason. Reed lost congressional races for the seat in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018. The Republican Party of California has endorsed Reed's campaign.

looks like he's the kind of serious person we need to address our serious problems.

Horseshiat meme: "it is odd that the George Floyd psy-op/precursor to an Antifa terrorist insurgency happened just as COVID-19 loses traction. It is odd that COVID-19 happened the moment the impeachment failed. Odd too; the impeachment happened the moment that Russian hoax failed. Russian hoax happened because Hillary lost the 2016 election. Can you see the pattern?"

FTFA: "Reed lost congressional races for the seat in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018."

Well I certainly see a pattern.

It's such a horrid fake photo in so many ways, again for a split second I thought it was a cheesy fake backdrop, like at a studio.

I'm pretty sure that is smog.

When I first glanced at the second picture it looked like he was holding a couple of forks with fried chicken thighs.

dylanthomas: sirrerun: This is a social media problem, not necessarily a political or exclusively right wing.
I see the same kind of crap being written about all kinds of innocuous coincidences.

The latest being that the increase in fireworks is some kind of CIA plot to destabilize the black community (I live in Oakland).

That said, this guys a quack, but congressional races always attract fringe wackos who know they can't win doing and saying wacko things.

I thought the ubiquitous fireworks were a uniquely Minneapolis problem - that's a thing, like, everywhere?

I'm 20 miles south of Minneapolis, and have been listening to fireworks for several weeks. Usually only starts a few days before 7/4, but I guess people are bored this year. Our cats are not impressed, but seem to be getting used to it.

I'm in a southern suburb and I'm used to hearing fireworks starting in late May every year, at least sporadically. May just be my neighborhood.

PaulRB: When I see a guy in a cowboy hat on a horse (in California!), I know we have a phony baloney tough guy.  Another idiot who's watched too many Clint Eastwood movies.

By the way, Clint's an actor, not an actual tough guy.  He's good at playing a tough guy but he's just another actor, no different than Steve Carell.  For all we know, in person Steve Carell is much tougher than Clint Eastwood.

This dumbass California politician is just preening in front of the cameras.  Get a real job, moron.  Stop pretending you know things.

First, I hate cowboy hats.  They look stupid and they make anyone wearing them look stupid.  Second, now I want to see a Steve Carrell-Clint Eastwood wrestling match and I blame you.  We can skip the mud.   Or not -- Steve's choice.  Last, I can't seem to find any credits for a Mark Reed, other than Oliver Reed's son.   So, how does this shiatkicker define "successful"?  Maybe as "I've been very successful at losing every election I've run in"?   Here in California, our dumbasses are always preening for cameras.  I advise NOT pointing cameras at them -- it only encourages them.

I wonder if he's thinking that there is some fantasy cowboy game he can play.  Like Dirtbags and Dumbf*cks.
