How many BECAUSE he is a Republican, you know, content of character, and all.

Scott, who is leading the GOP efforts on police reform, played two of many hateful voicemails left for him to his Republican colleagues. One of the voicemails called Scott "Uncle Tim" and described him as the "lowest piece of sh--t this country ever produced." Another was a profane voicemail left for a Scott staff assistant, after she asked the caller to stop cursing at her and hung up.

Following the lunch, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) tweeted that he was "shocked" to learn about the vile messages Scott received and said everyone has a responsibility to be kind when they disagree.

Grassley's assistants last seen scrubbing his computers and phone records.

If you're black and choose to be Republican, you deserve anything coming your way.

Same with Log Cabin Republicans and Jews for Hitler.

Trumper Tim Scott made a statement earlier on his position.

Grassley then said, "that's a real shame Tim.  Now leave out the back door".

and then he said both sides are bad and he'll continue to be even less concerned about current events than Senator Collins.

Doesn't pay as well.

Does Tim get some kind of prize for having the bloodiest woo-woo, or something? Why does he even need to play this garbage? Doesn't he know his colleagues are just going to laugh harder at him behind his back?

"He's also had to push back vehemently on suggestions of being a "token" for the GOP"

I don't I've ever suggested that.  I just come out and say it directly.  Did he answer one of those Craigslist ads?

There's the problem, black people just aren't doing enough to let us white people know how much discrimination they face. You can't blame us if we don't know what's going on.

Sounds like some of what he's biatching about is being judged on the content of his character.  A black person in a white nationalist party is pretty farked up.

You're on the wrong side, Tim.

Doesn't justify ugly racism aimed at you, but you're helping it by continuing to be a Republican.

Their whole reason for existing now is to protect white supremacy.

The far-right fringe (like VDare) has been calling him useless ever since he first became a Senator.

I'm sure Grassley said, "that's horrible, Tim! You're one of the good ones!"  Before he continued to not give a shiat.

That's out of line. It's been weeks, WEEKS, since McConnell mistakenly asked Tim Scott for a shoe shine.

How about just being kind?   I know that this means you have to leave the Republican party, but Jesus said be kind or else

He only played TWO of them?  Fark that!  I would have the doors locked from the outside and made them listen to ALL of them just to watch them squirm in their seats.  I'd like to also put flash drives with MP3 copies in their gift bags, but you know some of them will just masturbate to it later.

Sen. Tim Scott played racist and derogatory voicemails he and his staff are receiving to Senate GOP colleagues during a closed-door lunch Tuesday,

It probably went something like this:
Republican senators dodge questions, defend clearing out peaceful protesters

Autoerotic Defenestration: [Fark user image 396x630]

I hate to be that guy, but the pejorative term "Uncle Tom" has almost nothing to do with the original novel.

Tom show is a general term for any play or musical based (often only loosely) on the 1852 novel Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe. The novel attempts to depict the harsh reality of slavery. Due to the weak copyright laws at the time, a number of unauthorized plays based on the novel were staged for decades, many of them mocking the novel's strong characters and social message, and leading to the pejorative term "Uncle Tom".
Even though Uncle Tom's Cabin was the best-selling novel of the 19th century, far more Americans of that time saw the story in a stage play or musical than read the book.[1] Some of these shows were essentially minstrel shows that utilized caricatures and stereotypes of black people, and thus inverting the intent of the novel. "Tom shows" were popular in the United States from the 1850s through the early 1900s.

To close, remember republican Senators have stated and voted they do not believe in having witnesses in trials. Republicans have clearly demonstrated they do not believe in the rule of law and actually endorse criminal actions by republicans. A group that does not respect or understand the law simply cannot be trusted to ever be honest about anything. Republicans lie, cheat and steal as part of their party platform and just because Scott gives lip service to reform his actions show he does not care about the law or basic decency.
