Percise1: I lost another 15 by painting my house while drink gin

That just sounds like a euphemism never making it to the toilet on time.

Straight Outta Wells Branch: I don't know how else to tell this to Subby, but there's a very good chance she threw that meal up afterwards.

max_pooper: cheap_thoughts: You can't outrun a bad diet. But you sure as fark and barf it back up.

Yes you can. I lost 20 pounds during marathon training with a significant uptick in consumption. Perhaps burning 300-400 extra calories in exercise a few days a week isn't going to overcome a poor diet but burning 3,000-4,000 additional calories per week makes it hard to not lose weight.

That's their whole point, and I completely agree. You also aren't going to run a marathon only eating a poor diet.
Of course burning calories makes a difference, but the type of caloric intake makes just as much of a difference.
I lost 15 lbs by cutting my beer intake 80-90%. I lost another 15 by painting my house while drink gin (how the hell else can you paint a farking house?).
There's a who lot more to it than just "burning calories".
