The next ones will be protected,  the ones who will keep tabs on the Biden administration.

BizarreMan: The next ones will be protected,  the ones who will keep tabs on the Biden administration.

Which I'd be fine with, but you know that the next time there's a R president it'll suddenly be a burden and politicly motivated and blah blah blah.

So when Trump illegally fires them, so what?  Are you going to impeach (again) under the Tenure of Office Act?

Yeah, I think he sees the writing on the wall for Iowa going back to having "one of each" in the Senate, which means he needs to have actual accomplishments (even conservative ones) instead of a record of blind followership.

He'll live well past 100. For all his faults, Grassley is in very good shape.

That certainly doesn't mean he should still be in the Senate, but I don't see him keeling over in the near future.

He tries to compare Obama's firing of ONE guy, who wasn't investigating anything Obama did, with the Big Twit firing FIVE guys, all of whom WERE investigating Bit Twit's guys who probably WERE doing something illegal or unethical.  Also, Grassley is senile.

Maybe "Lady G" can help him out with that.

Already lining up lame duck legislation to limit the powers of President Biden

Inspector General, as in singular.  I believe there's probably only one left.

Also, time to get retroactive, baby.  All previous crimes should be investigated, cataloged and farking prosecuted.
