Scalia viewed himself as a warrior in the culture wars and, like most Republican-appointed judges, was in the business of constructing ex post facto rationalizations of whatever decision was in favor of Christian fundamentalists. He particularly hated the gays, so no, I don't think he'd have cared much for that decision.

Scalia was a strict constructionist and it only happened to be that the construction always matched what Faux News said was the proper call.

It bothers me that 6 of the 9 Justices are Roman Catholic

Not just Christianity but a specific denomination of Christianity.

Doesn't that bother you?

/fun fact: There have only been 13 Catholic Justices in Supreme Court history. So that means half of all the Catholic Judges ever nominated to the bench are sitting on the bench right now.

"Who ever thought that intimacy and spirituality [whatever that means] were freedoms? And if intimacy is, one would think Freedom of Intimacy is abridged rather than expanded by marriage. Ask the nearest hippie." - Anton Scalia, gracefully protesting against the majority opinion on Obergefell v. Hodges.

Pretty much. Scalia would have come up with some typical conservative rationalization (e.g., "It's a choice") to justify siding against extending the protections. He was an "Originalist" only when convenient.

He also died in a sex palace, likely involved in underage sex trafficking.

Well, now I'm even more confused.  Are you suggesting Scalia had a LARPing fetish?

Whatever. Scalia would have constructed a ridiculous BS excuse to vote the way he wanted, just like always.

Nah.

They're just ordinary mercenaries. They're playing both sides of the party with the Trump thing, so whichever way it shakes out one of them is in the in-group and the money keeps flowing, but they're not actually ideologically opposed.

This isn't like whazzerfaces from the Clinton era, the Conways are both Republicans.

Remember, the only thing the "neverTrump" folks object to is Trump himself, and how he goes about things and says the quiet parts loud. They still want what Trump is doing done, they just want someone other than Trump to do it.

That's pretty much my take on it. Mrs Conway is an especially talented cold-blooded mercenary.
