from worst to best, maybe
2004-08-17 06:53:37 PM
Close, but I'd put Special Dark in front. Dark chocolate is great, although Hershey's isn't the best. Lindt dark chocolate is nice stuff.
2004-08-17 06:54:38 PM
Reeses Peanutbutter Cup
2004-08-17 06:56:43 PM
Are these the names of man-whores you frequent?
2004-08-17 06:59:18 PM
Krackel = Poor man's Nestle's Crunch. :)
2004-08-17 07:00:02 PM
If not, I'll have to go with:

Freia milk chocolate
Hershey's dark
2004-08-17 07:00:14 PM
Throw the nasty dark chocolate away.
2004-08-17 07:00:21 PM
There's a British bar that I've only had twice. It's made by Cadbury, and it seems to be made by taking a thin sheet of joy and wrinkling it up. Sound familiar?
2004-08-17 07:02:28 PM
the only one of those I'd take a piece of is the Goodbar.
2004-08-17 07:13:28 PM
God love the Hersheys Miniatures*.

1. Krackel (just to get it out of the way)
2. Hershey regular
3. Mr. Goodbar
4. Special Dark

* and, they must've come directly to the poolside grill at the Sherman Oaks Riviera from the freezer
2004-08-17 07:14:52 PM
Bleh...Special Dark. Drop it in a cup of coffee and let it melt, though, and that's a different story.
2004-08-17 07:16:44 PM
That new Crunch bar with caramel rocks. It's like a crunchy Rolo.
2004-08-17 07:17:21 PM
The only chocolates I eat are crunchy frog and spring surprise.
2004-08-17 07:19:04 PM
I'd hit it. In that order.
2004-08-17 07:20:02 PM
Just Ignorant

Seconded on the caramel Crunch bar, it's quite the taste sensation.
2004-08-17 07:20:24 PM
Cherry Ripe
Violet Crumble
Peppermint Crisp
2004-08-17 07:24:21 PM
Bleh...Special Dark. Drop it in a cup of coffee and let it melt, though, and that's a different story. I thought I was the only one that did this.

In other news, the greatest candy bar of all time is Reese's Sticks.*

*Snickers, the inaugural Hall of Fame nominee is ineligible

Go on, tell me what you like, children...I'm a spy for Fickelgruber! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-haaa!
2004-08-17 07:29:46 PM
Oooooh... does anyone remember a chocolate that came out maybe ten years ago? It cost a couple of dollars, and came in a little box (dark red, I think) about the size of a pack of cigarettes, only maybe half the thickness. It was really good chocolate, but I can't remember what it was called. I want to say Symphony, but that comes in a wrapper.

if I must have chocolate then it is all about the Ritter Sport Butter Biscuit/Milk Chocolate Bar. That is all.

this got the green light?
2004-08-17 07:32:53 PM
I don't really eat chocolate.
2004-08-17 07:33:48 PM
Special Dark #1
Mr Goodbar #2

Note the ingredient: 100% pure birthday pleasure. Awww, yeah.
2004-08-17 07:39:35 PM
You should recognize mine, Darcius. Don't go near the American Milky Way or Three Musketeers though. An Oz Milky Way is the same as a US 3 Musketeers, and I think a US Milky Way is a Mars Bar. Or something. It's a total mess.

Oh, and Rice Bubbles? Called Rice Krispies here.
2004-08-17 07:42:10 PM
krackel, goodbar, plain, dark
2004-08-17 07:46:03 PM
Not a big fan of chocolate, BUT my faves are:

Skor (don't see them very often though)
Reese's Cups
Kit Kat

Kinder chocolate from Germany is great too.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Snickers?
2004-08-17 07:49:42 PM
The Milky Ways in Poland have this white filling that's really tasty. I'm not sure if it's the same throughout Europe, though. Milky Way Midnight rules. I don't like Snickers either.
2004-08-17 07:52:08 PM

Special Dark
Mr. Goodbar

And I'd rather shove a Krackle bar up someone's bum than eat it.

I don't really like chocolate, but if I'm going to eat it I like Snickers or Reese's cups. My favorite candy bar is the loverly PayDay bar.

Go to hell, submitter! Everyone knows it's special dark, krackel, plain, and then you pawn off the Mr. Goodbar on everyone else!

I have no idea what this thread is about, and guess that no one is reading the results, just posting and moving on, but....

Unsweetened cooking chocolate, a couple of good bitter squares, followed by a shot of straight up corn syrup from the bottle.

You hit the whole range of flavors. Oh yeah.
