When are we going to start getting rid of these goddamned Cuban Canadians. That's what I want to know.

It takes a special kind of disingenuousness and/or stupidity to tweet this and think that it makes Pelosi look bad.

Which makes for an excellent argument that Ted Cruz is the worst Republican.

How many republicans would be left if the party removed everyone with an IQ below 85?

"Ted Cruz is smarter than the average Republican" isn't setting the bar very high.

Well, gee, Mr. Solomon! If they're Democrats then I guess we HAVE to keep them!

Aw, shucks! You got us again!

Every time a republican opens their mouth on the internet, they need to be shot down, in a literary sense, of course.

Every time.
Limit their speech to crowds of phlegm spitters

At best, this reads like "Democrats have an ability to be introspective as exhibited by a Democrat in a leadership position. What a bunch of ninnies, right?"

Has every republican been bullied repeatedly when they were children?
I'd guess if that was the case, there's no wonder why.

Democrats don't give a fark what people called themselves 150 years ago. If they were racists, if they were slave owners we don't need them. They can be read about in history books

Democrats don't want to support racists, just because they were party members.  This is not the "gotcha" moment you think it is.

He actually isn't the worst.  Not even in the top twenty.  And that's farking terrifying.

That reminds me of that time a pol in VA had drafted a bill to remove some Dixiecrat's statue from the 1930s. He figured that D's would back off statue removal since one of "their own" was being taken down. When the D's said, "sure take him down, too", he was like "Uhh, it was a joke guys,..."

Having said that, I always thought that Democrats should take a page out of the R book and play on the meme of "personal responsibility". Admit to the public that our past history as a political party was shameful and there were racist figures in the party 100-150 years ago that we bear the burden of correcting. Then immediately after, propose a bipartisan bill to erect a statue of Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass, both predominant figures in the Republican Party, and speak of their support for the second amendment rights as being necessary for survival.

In a lot of a ways, that's better than saying "the Southern Strategy" again and again. Take your lumps and admit that Lee, Forrest, etc. were Democrats, give the R's credit for being right back then, and present it to the nation with the Tubman/Douglass statues as a tribute. Make them explain why they don't want to honor their fellow Republicans.

Exactly.  I mean, I know Ted is trying to go for the "See Dems r bad!" angle that involves no actual thought, but if he really reflected on it, his whole point seems to be that the Dem leadership can do things based on what's right and ignore some random party affiliation from 160 farking years ago, regardless of what that means now, which by the way is "jack shiat".

Nope. I was wrong.

It is the love child of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

On the Twitter page is also a tweet from The Twat, a mangled version of the George Santayana  quote:  "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,"

I've never seen an elected official, at any level, with as little knowledge of history as this lazy fark.  He is the perfect example of a someone with a flat learning curve.

Again, the "Party of Lincoln" rushes to whine about losing salutes to the Confederacy.

But what do you expect from a man whose family fought FOR Castro?
