Better question: Why isais company allowed to advertise on Fox News at all without a constant barrage of customers planning on becoming ex-customers?

This vile creation needs to be necked until dead.

He'll always have gold scams, reverse mortgages, and MyPillow.

It is no longer a show with ads.  It is basically a My Pillow infomercial at this point.

fun fact: ratings matter not at all when companies won't pay to advertise. the whole point of ratings after all is getting the dupes watching the show to buy things.

kick Fox in the moneybags.

I don't believe the Papa John's one for a second. Or at least, I don't believe the call was made because they suddenly found a conscience.

That f*ckface was the one who dropped the n-word during a conference call and said that "if we make great profits, we are under no obligation to share them with our employees." He's the perfect representative of your average American executive.

Now coming from MyPillow, created in conjunction with Tucker Carlson, a life size Donald Trump Body Pillow, only 59.99$. Optional fifi holder 14.88$.

Huh, that's a rather flattering statement. How odd for him to be chastised for it.

It seems like a revolving door. How else do they keep finding advertisers for Tucker's BS? After the outrage, I suspect that these same companies must come trickling back. Except for Mr. Pillow, he never left.

He's out of the company now after that. Your original point still stands though. I could totally see PJ saying they were dropping advertising and still doing it.

One of Disney's most popular movie characters is Black Panther.

Papa Johns is trying to hold on to a partnership with the NFL, who yesterday pledged $250 million dollars to organizations fighting systemic racism.

I wouldn't count on them coming back anytime soon.

Twice, actually. The first time was, naturally, due to his criticism of Roger Goodell for not disciplining players that knelt during the anthem. He stepped down as CEO but remained chairman of the board.

Then, the slur on a conference call six months later cost him the chairmanship.

He, of course, claims that he's the victim:

Well, hopefully Tucker is finally outed the same way his predecessors have gone - with false accusations made by him over some persecution that was staged, or worse, some allegations about his sexual depravity where he nearly kills the hookers he hired.

I can do without any photographic evidence. I would imagine Tucker makes the same confused face when he comes, and that's about as far as I want to let that thought linger.

Off topic a bit, but has anyone tried My Pillow? I mean, I wouldn't buy one if it was free and filled with diamonds. I'm just wondering how this guy has so much money for politics. The saturation point on his product HAS to be pretty low in the general population. Unless Trump Hotels are buying them and this guy turns around and gives money back to Trump--in fact, yeah, I'll just assume that explains it.

FTFA: Papa John's confirmed in an emailed statement that it, too, had cut ties with Carlson's show, although the Louisville, Kentucky-based restaurant chain also noted it is pulling back from all "opinion-based programming."

That would probably be for the best.

It sounds like Disney did worse than nothing. If they take the money from Carlson but just move it to other ad buys on the same network, that frees slots for new buys on Carlson likely increasing FNC's total revenue.

If you don't pull your funding from the whole network it doesn't matter if you moved it away from a single show.

You don't know how ad buys work, do you?

Why were they advertising there to begin with?  Is the demographic so filthy rich that they buy everything, at retail, in huge quantities?   Never saw TC, but I assume the Rolls and Bentley ads must replace the pharma ads on the regular newscasts.

The problem is: How would you know these companies are placing ads on these shows/channels without watching it? A public place to shame these companies would definitely be helpful. I'm a T-Mobile user in Germany and didn't even know until now that they were doing that.
