I did the skittle vodka thing a decade ago.  using grape skittles, mixing it with mountain dew.. well, it was definitely sweet, and I guess for what its worth it did get me drunk.  but I don't recommend it.

According to Wikipedia, "The Drumstick sweet is a chewy lolly about 2" (5 cm) in length. It features two flavours, milk and raspberry."

So then: vodka, sugar, milk, raspberry...

I've had mead made with Jolly Rancher candies.  I like mead, I do not like Jolly Rancher candies
