Oh for crying out loud.  Do you not have a colander in the house?  Or even a large bowl?

Still, good deed....

//next time, a net might be better. Or, just build a ramp out of the pool using the chair.

I half expected to read that the squirrel was humping the girl's leg.

yeah when i read "the fark way" and it was about a squirrel.
I figured a face full o squirrel nut sack as it scrambles over her and jumps away off her head or something.

I did like that it basically could have just run off to the ground a few inches away but clearly thought she challenged some "come at me bro" and obliged

The worst part is, it ended up back in the water.  It's a crazy thing about Squirrels.  Super smart, and super agile.  But when they panic they tend to right DIRECTLY into the danger, rather than away from it.

Every farking time I see one in the street, it runs in front of me 3 times before finally running away.

Also, black squirrels in Texas?  I've only seen those north.  Like in Princeton.  The only place in NJ that has black squirrels, if you need to impress anyone.  I've also seen them in Canada.  Didn't know they migrated that far south.

No wonder the squirrel freaked out, she was using a slatted chair.

At one of the disk golf courses in Mckinney there used to be a black squirrel and a white squirrel. Normally saw them at the same spots on the course two holes from one another.

There's also a group in DC somewhere.

I used to have to get my squirrel out of the toilet occasionally, but if they aren't tame they don't want you around.

They can be mean:

I would have just tipped the pool over onto the lawn, so that the squirrel could run away.

Just leave the chair in the pool for it to jump on. Then back away. Easier.
